I am extremely frustrated to waste time writing this review but I gave the hotel a chance to somewhat rectify things and they did not. Avoid this hotel at all costs if you are parking a car there. My car had 2 windows smashed when it was parked literally right outside their pool for a night and belongings stolen. This was at least the third time it had happened there that week but NOBODY warned me when I checked in - just said "park anywhere". They hadn't bothered to add any security or videos despite it being a big issue issue and if they hadn't done that they should at least warn guests until they do. What happened to me was avoidable since I heard one of their employees tell another employee and their response was “again??”. And then I ran into another guest who said his car was broken into a few days prior to mine and he’d been parked in the same area by the pool where apparently there is no camera - not sure why an employee wouldn’t think to tell people to avoid that area if it had happened there multiple times that week. Then to my surprise I heard a guest checking in the day after it happened to me and he was asking about parking and they told him he was good to park anywhere without any warning! So I stepped in and warned him not to park where I did. It was a pretty traumatic experience for me and I lost $$ worth of belongings along with car damage and personal info taken. Not to mention the days lost being delayed there waiting for windows to be fixed and not sleeping well. I know hotel isn't liable to cover any monetary loss but when something that awful happens it should at lead be significant amount of points as that's easy to do and simple goodwill gesture. Instead, this hotel did the BARE MINIMUM by just refunding the 15K points I'd paid for the night it happened (obviously ) and not making me pay for the extra night I HAD to stay there while I was stranded waiting for my windows to be fixed - would be absurd if they made me pay for that. SO as a gold member essentially nothing was offered to make up for what happened - just basic civility of I didn't have to pay while I waited for the next available window repair guy. Inexcusable especially considering other equally priced Marriott properties have offered me 20-50K points for much lesser things like mistaken charges, rude staff, broken AC, etc. Aside from what happened to me, I also saw the front desk let in a guy who was clearly homeless and high on drugs, then say "I think he's on the do not rent list" despite just giving him elevator access, a stray dog was also seen roaming inside the hotel and they couldn't figure out who it belonged to/how it got in, fire alarm in the middle of the day from someone smoking inside, suspicious person roaming around where my car was that they didn't bother to follow up on, no towels in the gym, none of the staff could figure out how to change the channel on the gym tv even when they called their manager and nobody had bothered to follow up and figure it out when I went back 24hrs later. I'm sure the manager will respond and say they have added security now, but it shouldn't have taken so many incidents for that to happen especially given the area they're in...makes me wonder what else they're cutting corners/costs on, and to not warn a guest about a specific parking area that had already been robbed twice that week is bad, but making no effort to do any simple goodwill gesture to somewhat apologize for what happened shows they don't care and don't want to give even gold members any incentive to feel ok about returning to a Marriott property. This one is managed by NHS Hotels, important to note if this is how they do business. 4.2 score on Marriott website can’t be trusted because you can only leave a review there if you happen to receive a guest satisfaction survey, which i found out today not everyone receives….not surprisingly, I wasn’t sent one and was told I couldn’t fill one out when I contacted Marriott.

Very disappointed on how unprofessional this property manager and the company handled this location. They knew for a while they have been closed and not projected to open up till April! I got notification 3DAYS from my reservation they could no longer accomidate. I booked all the way back in May or June. Then when I tried to call the manager she was unavailable. Then when I tried calling Fairfield number listed I got disconnect 5 times! I don't know if I was getting hung up on or bad service your service is running on. I eventually just canceled and went through the stess of booking somewhere else and having to pay more because of it being last minute! I have never been treated so poorly in my life by a company before. Here is the email showing the manager has known they have been closed for a while trying to switch branding. Not only did they almost ruined our weekend, they also made me loose money in the process with little to no help. I understand that it is not ideal to have these things happen as a business but due to having knowledge and not handling the matter in a timely manner and letting your customer suffer for your consequences is so unprofessional! Thank you.

The room design is quite odd, with a layout that makes the space feel cramped and less comfortable than expected. Despite having potential, the awkward arrangement takes away from the overall experience. Additionally, the breakfast was disappointing, as it lacked freshness and flavor. A more thoughtful room design and higher-quality, fresh breakfast options could

I stayed at this Hampton Inn in lakewood colorado. My children and I travel to lakewood a couple times every summer to visit family, I have a hilton membership so we usually stay with Hampton...Unfortantly our last stay wasnt so pleasent. We stayed for 4 nights and trash was never taken out of our room, breakfast bar was packed because there was a conference in town, there was limited rolls, fruit, and eggs were old and dried out. An hour after checking out I realized I forgot a bag in the room, so I called Hampton Inn. One of the house keepers (Vanessa) had checked the room and told me she would hold my bag for me,  back in the office until I could get it. I asked her if it was okay to come back in a few days on the weekend because I was from Nebraska. She told me no problem, my things would be safe... I told her I would be back in 3 days if she could reserve me a room, so when I picked up my bag, I could have a place to stay(Vanessa said no problem she would take care of it)  I offered to give her my credit card info. She told me dont worry about it, it would be on file from my last stay. When I returned on Friday, I told the lady at the front desk I had a reservation and I was there to pick up my bag. She said she didnt have a room reserved for me, and handed me my things. When I got my bag I noticed I was missing 3 pairs of pants. Im sure someone went through my bag because the shirts I wore with the pants where in my bag but not the pants.  How can I wear 3 outfits and only get my shirts back. Im missing one pair of American Eagle jeans, one pair of Big Star jeans, and one pair of victoria seceret black legging capris. I have called the hampton several times to ask them to help me get my things. I spoke to  Brenda and the manager several times and gave them my number and I have never received a call back. I also asked them for corporates number, and they told me they didnt have it. I had to research online to find the number myself. I am very upset, and violated. I will definatly reconsider thinking about staying at any hilton motel in the future....
