I just moved here from Long Beach, CA known as foodies and witnessed the most disgusting attitude from the same manager of this place multiple times when me and my ordered pizza here on elida road. Mind you the pizza is awesome but the customer service was terrible, which will be the very last time we eat here knowing we ordered from this place 2-3 a month since we moved here. The manager with the snotty attitude delivered our medium pizza and 10 traditional mild wings to my home and directly demanded the money saying the price out loud without proper greetings to me and my company as I had friends over from out of state. The "Manager" with the attitude approached me with a 20oz bottle of Sierra Mist saying I ordered it when clearly I had company over for it made no sense to order an individual drink for a few people that was accompanying me at my home. I said " I didn't order an individual 20oz and he replied "You said yes when I asked a 20oz over the phone" I replied "Most definitely didn't order this one drink" so he continued to debate and I clearly say I don't want this drink and will not pay for it and don't need it. After that, he said the price of the pizza and wings and I asked for and receipt... He said " I was rushing out and forgot the receipt" ???????? I'm confused at this point and replied " I'm not paying you unless you have a reciept with you" He said well I have to take the order back and go get the receipt" I was really puzzled then! I said you know what I don't need this order anymore, no need to come back. He almosted snatched the pizza box out of my hand and left with the box. I was clear at this point. As me and my company was heading out about 15mins later to go to Buffalo Wild Wings in LIMA, the "Manager popped up with the receipt and food...??? I said to him " Thank you for coming back but I don't. It want this order anymore especially after you took our food from us and brought it back and I was clear that I didnt want it anymore the first time I stated that. Me and my wife will NEVER eat here again as long as we're here and hopes management will properly trained the employees to serve the customers the right way. Me and my wife will pay a visit personally, asap to address this situation and make sure no one else will ever witness we witnessed today 8-13-17. That would tick anyone off I told you the first time I did. Told me multiple times it was delivered (it was not). asked if it was a duplex I said yeah but it’s not at the neighbors house I’m outside. We live five minutes away shouldn’t be over 30 minutes. every time I asked a question, placed on hold so they can call the GM. They were remaking it for delivery I declined because you didn’t “deliver” it to the right place why should I trust it? Towards the end of the call the person apologized said we’d get free cinnamon bread (didn’t want it but nice gesture) get there and Handed it to us and I said asked no cinnamon bread and the man (I assume who I spoke to) said “you were kinda rude to us we’re not giving you anything” but on the phone before I arrived I was told the GM said to. Who wouldn’t be mad? Read moreFirst off Donato's pizza is great no matter if you have any customer service issues. This location is clean, and has good parking. My wife ordered pizza online to pick up from this location. When I arrived' they had not processed my order or made anything. The manager found my order and began making my order. They didn't have any large dough ready so I received 2 medium sized pizzas in lieu which I was happy with. The food came out great, I just had to wait a little extra. I am not sure if it was the company process of receiving online orders, or just an employee error, but the manager was genuinely apologetic about the error. If you're on Elida road and you want pizza, definitely stop at Donato's.
