The Dogwood - Boutique Motel — Hotel in Maggie Valley

Stayed her two nights and they were extremely accommodating. The rooms feel very cozy, warm and inviting. They recently remodeled and you can tell how updated everything is. The rooms were SUPER clean and you can’t tell they went the extra mile with the comforters, pillows, water pressure ( in the shower) and most important toilet paper. The owner responds personally by email and replies SUPER quick. Within the same day. The boutique is also really close to the ski resort maybe only a 10 minute drive so you can get to your room and relax right after hitting the slopes. A very unique part of the boutique is that they actually do have a kitchen with a stove/oven, microwave, refrigerator and other kitchen essentials, it’s actually in their lobby so if you have a big family this motel would be perfect to book to hole a bunch of people they have double queen rooms and king rooms. We found the Dogwood by randomly searching Maggie Valley on TikTok. We loved watching the posts on the remodel that the owners shared. We booked the Azalea suite for our honeymoon weekend. The entire process was simple and easy. We booked online and prior to our arrival we received our room code for access to the suite. We loved having the extra room and are glad we chose a suite. It was an easy drive to Bryson City where we had booked a trip on the Great Smokey Railroad. We also did some gem mining and visited the Wheels Through Time museum. Beautifully maintained property. Bob totally rocks with taking care of everything outside! Exceptionally clean and comfortable room! Lianne keeps everything spotless and well stocked with clean towels and amenities. Fabulous living room with mountain and creek views. Kitchen was immaculate and very well outfitted with cooking supplies, dishware, coffee and tea amenities and modern appliances. Great hot tub overlooking flowing creek. Nice gym on property.
