Subway — Restaurant in Maggie Valley

If I could give zero stars after today I would. Employees were very rude to begin with. I made an online order where it states they are open and close at 9 I drive there and the store has a sign on the door saying they have started closing at 8. I understand places close early but at least change the times online as well. I couldn’t get anyone to come to the door to ask them they hide behind the wall. I finally got them to come outside and I was told I couldn’t get my receipt or my money back and that they couldn’t even call the manager who left two teenage girls alone for the night to ask about getting my money back or how to go about that situation. I was told to come in the next day and speak to the manager when they are there and it then be my word against theirs without no receipt or anything to prove my order that I didn’t get. They came to a decision to write a written note stating I would be coming back in to get my refund. I was then told later before I was about to leave that they called the manager and the manager said I could have my money back after the girls working told me they couldn’t even give the manager a call. Definitely won’t be coming...

My girlfriend and I are here from Minnesota and we were looking for something quick and easy as it was getting late and we had both had a long day and the only places open after 8:00 are way over in waynesville. We drove by at 8:45 saw they were open, we double checked and it indeed said online that they were open until 9:00... we turned around and as we pulled in, the workers ran to the window and looked at us and then turned the open sign off stared at us some more and then shut off the lights and hid behind the counter! You can't make this stuff up! I literally have a video showing the time and the workers trying to hide... guess this subway has lost our business next time we are in town. Was debating of bringing the video in tomorrow to show management... If this sort of stuff is any indication of how the establishment is ran, then I'm surprised they are still open......

Owner greed!?? Half the meat literally! Sandwiches receive half the meat count according to subway sandwich formula. I order the same sandwich everytime I come to subway which is a foot long spicy Italian and very familiar with the formula of subway sandwiches. The lady put on a total of 5 pepperoni and 5 salami which I let her know according to the subway sandwich formula sheet it is 10 pieces of each and not 5 each for a total of 10. She stated that was incorrect and the owner has directed that count which tells me the owner is more worried about the bottom line and profit than adhering to corporate subway policy and customer satisfaction.
