I went in for a drug screen for an employer as a standby I expected to wait at least 30 minutes. 30 minutes later, someone comes out and tells me (rudely) they won't be able to take me today because they're short staffed and still need to take a lunch. Then I proceeded to explain that it's for an employer and I'm at the end of my window. They said oh just tell them you need an extension because of your conflict of schedule. It wasn't my schedule that interfered with me being able to get this during the first window. I don't understand why this location takes walk-ins if they can randomly just turn them away when they feel like it. I was told to come back today they do Drug screens until 2 o'clock. I checked in at 10:48 this morning and the kiosk told me they didn't have any more drug screens available. I was able to get in, but the staff was just as rude as yesterday. Barking at me to tell me how to proceed with things. I straight up told her she was rude. If I could give them less than one star, I would. I agree with the rest of the one star reviews - the staff here doesn't want to do their job! This is the worst Quest I have ever been to in 30 years of living in CT!! If you're scheduled to do drug screens until 2 PM, you shouldn't be turning away people at 12:30 so you can take a lunch! You should take your lunch after 2 PM. Your staffing issues are not my problem. Shame on you for putting this on the patient, two days in a row!    Read moreI think some of the older reviews of this location are not reflective of how its run currently. Over the past year I've gone to this location probably 10+ times and I've never had a bad experience. I usually go first thing in the morning, but have gone in the afternoon as well and the wait times are not bad and the staff are all friendly and efficient, and I've never had a phlebotomist that couldn't find a vein or needed to stick me multiple times. I've had appointments that take priority over walk-ins, and the times I've gone in without an appointment I haven't had to wait more than 10 to 20 minutes (which I think is reasonable for a walk-in). I had a time when the order for bloodwork hadn't gone through (doctor's fault, not Quest), and the phlebotomist could tell I was upset and she told me to call ahead next time and gave me her name and number to make sure the order had gone through so I didnt waste my time showing up without an order. The location is clean and follows the current Covid recommendations and I've never felt too crowded or close to others throughout this pandemic, unlike other Quest locations I've been to.    Read moreI had a 7 AM appointment for a glucose tolerance test ordered by my Dr. Arrived at 6:53, there were 7 people standing in line waiting to enter. I waited in my car. Doors opened promptly at 7. At 7:06 the last person entered the foyer, I walked up and waited for the foyer to clear and entered. It was another few minutes to get to the sign in kiosk. The Kiosk had posted that it was 25 more minutes to be seen for my 7 AM appointment. I left not having scheduled over an hour for my 7 AM appointment. Quest is grossly negligent of over booking and being insensitive to wasting people's time . This has happened several times at different branches. I schedule first thing in the morning so I could get in and out quickly to get to work. 7:00 does not mean 7:40. What does it say about a company's attitude when they are running late first thing in the morning? I It screams out , "We don't care ! " I suggest that anyone who has to wait more than 20 minutes for a SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT get up and leave. Reschedule, and try again.
