I am a Doordash driver in the Boise/Meridian area. I have done over 3000 deliveries and this specific store is by far my favorite to pick up from. Not just from all Chick Fil A's, but from every restaurant in this town.
Many restaurants around here don't give us drivers much respect because they just see us as employees of Doordash and not their actual customer. But when we walk in the door, we are focused on making sure our customer, and theirs, has a great experience and gets exactly what they ordered. As well as food that is hot, includes all of the sauces, drinks, napkins and utensils they would expect to get if they were there in person. We are there representing our customer and we want them to take our order just as serious as any of the other customers inside the store. Very few ( and I mean VERY FEW ) restaurants even attempt to do that.
Well this store does that consistently every single time I go in there. It never matters how busy they are, how many people are in line, or how overwhelmed they may feel. I get treated respectfully every single time without exception. I can tell they just seem to get it. They realize that I am there trying to make sure that both THEIR customer AND MINE get quality food in a timely manner so that they will want to order again.
I almost never have to wait more than a minute or 2 for the order. The staff is always very friendly and attentive to me so it makes my job sooo much easier. I will sometimes just sit in their parking lot waiting for another order to come in for there because I know it's going to be a quick in and out and 99.9% of the time, the order is going to be correct. ( nobody's perfect 🙂)
So, I just wanted to give a shout out to the owner of this store, the managers and all of the employees because they do a phenomenal job of giving A+ service not only to customers, but to us drivers who are doing our best to get you hot quality food in the fastest way possible.
This store goes above and beyond the normal expectations we have for restaurants. They are just on a whole different level than most and they deserve the recognition for it. So well done you guys. We Doordashers appreciate your commitment to be the best around. 🙂 Your customers do as well. See...
Read moreI was craving mac n cheese so I took it upon myself to research online a good place to get mac n cheese for a cheap price. I decided to try chickfila. Now, I should say that I’ve never been through a chickfila drive through before, so to say the least this was a very interesting experience. First off, as I was following the arrows to the drive through, I came across cones which were blocking the entrance. clearly they were just doing this as an attempt to make the line longer on the other side, however it meant that I had to back up almost 10 feet just so I could redirect myself. Once I got to the correct side of the drive through, it almost felt as if I was trying to cross the border. The multiple runners in vests running around taking orders. Don’t get me wrong, all of the workers were very nice. I thought nothing was out of the ordinary when first runner helped me, but as I pulled up more and saw somebody in a booth handing out receipts I thought, “hm this is weird”. And then I realized. Once the women in the booth handed me my receipt and I heard the words spoken from her mouth, “My pleasure”, I was startled. I did not realize that when the first person who took my order said it that it was because they are forced to. I began to remember what my old friend once told me, that “all chick-fil-a workers are forced to say ‘my pleasure’”. I was even more scared when I reached the area to receive my order. instead of a normal drive through where the worker reaches through a window, it was just an open door and a person who runs the orders out. And then I heard it again, “my pleasure”. Why do they do this to them? I know well that if I was forced to say “my pleasure” I would put in my resignation immediately. The mac n...
Read moreTypically, I’m pretty happy with the service and the food. However… A while back my mom sister and I went in after someone had told us to try their grilled chicken nuggets. Was very disappointed! It’s a decent sized container, and it was basically empty with only a few nuggets in it, and the nuggets were extremely stale and very bland. One and a few more times after that and it seemed fine, until the last time I went in with my brother. Very first thing that my brother and I noticed when we walked inside was that the tables were dirty, so we just stood there awkwardly, and the whole entire building smelled horribly of dirty feet! We even had a man from a totally different family walk over and ask us if he was the only one that smelled it, and we had to tell him it was like that when we got there too, almost made you want to hold your breath it stank so bad!. I got a large drink, which I did get immediately, but then ordered a small fry. I waited 30 minutes and nobody brought my small fry out, but I was trying to be patient. Probably three families came in after I had gotten there and ordered, gotten much larger orders than me, and still left before I did. I finally went over to the lady standing at the counter and had told her that I had ordered a small fry 30 minutes prior and she said that their employees must have forgotten, and the whole time I watched probably four employees standing right in front of the ordering screen, which I also saw my order on, chitchatting away, looking around at customers and other employees and giggling. After I finally said something, I got my small fries, which were by the time I got them cold and under cooked. 30 minutes for a small fry that wasn’t even worth...
