Noodles and Company — Restaurant in Meridian

I visited the Boise, ID location on March 11th, 2024. Me and my wife were kind of tired of the standard fare, and we decided that we wanted to try something new. I wish that was what happened. We arrived at the store at just about 6pm, and there was a bit of a line. There was about three people in front of me and two behind. We weren't sure what was going on, but the line didn't move for about 10 minutes. So we just thought that the food was made for you while you wait in line. Then I looked around and saw there were three seated tables, all of which didn't have food. There was a tall guy behind the counter that didn't acknowledge any of us at all, save for the guy at the very front of the line, whom he told was "busy." After this wait, everyone in line decided to leave the resturaunt without so much as being acknowledged or an apology for the wait. This was one of the worst customer experiences I've ever had. There needs to be some serious retraining for the staff at this location. We decided to go to the Habit Burger in the same parking lot. I was greeted within about 10 seconds of walking in the door and recieved awesome service. I'd be willing to try again, and even to change the review if we get to taste the food. Until then though, we will be avoiding...

Don’t waste your time going to the eagle location. Milwaukee location hands down has better service. Came with my newly one year old and she gets the tortellini kids meal but we sub out tomato sauce for Alfredo sauce. I was told by the cook they cannot do that which the other location has no problem with doing so. So I ordered her Alfredo on the side as they refuse to sub the sauce on her noodles. Not only was it and extra 1.33 for her sauce, the cook then questioned the cashier to make sure I was charged for the extra sauce. Her noodles came out cold and obviously plain and I had to dump the sauce on her noodles. Not sure why the cook couldn’t just sauce the noodles like any other dish they make. 🤷‍♀️

After I was done eating I went up to get a lid for my baby’s food and some guy walks in from next door and asks if he can have sodas for him and some of his workers. they gave him 4-5 drinks for free but they had to make sure I was charged for a...

Obviously it isn’t a Michelin star earning establishment, but for a less expensive restaurant this was delicious and Dani was absolutely AMAZING! We came in with our kiddo and Dani, at the register, immediately started striking up conversation with our kid and let them order their own food. She gave me a great food suggestion that I loved and I ate every bite I could of my food. The garlic zucchini dish was delish! She helped me figure out what I wanted, really checked in on us several times to make sure we were taken care of and satisfied. She really made us feel comfortable and welcome with her warm presence and confident personality. The place was so clean (even the bathroom!). The place almost felt like it had a Southern Hospitality to it because of Dani and the other nice workers who were taking care of the place. Would definitely come back on another vacation.
