Update 3/15/23:
Another "manager" strikes again bringing this location back to a 1 star rating. I was there the other night around 8pm and ordered my food, asked to add chips (many chips on the shelf to my left) and was told they couldn't sell me any. I asked why and he said they were for online orders only that had already paid. I asked for the manager and someone named "Dillon" told me he wouldn't sell me chips. I asked if they would sell me chips if I ordered online and they said yes. So I ordered chips through the app to see and sure enough, they handed me my chips. This is completely arsenene. Chipotle what are you letting your "Managers" do? This makes no sense. If you have chips, you sell them to the person ready to pay. Someone buying online and not there is not the same thing. This really turns off customers and has taken my review back to worst review due to service. Again most of the staff was very cool. But Management is HORRIBLE at this location. They all need to be FIRED. The only reason this Chipotle still gets any business is because the closest one is about 15 miles away.
Update 12/19/22:
Having been back to this store in the evening 3 times since the past event, I can say I'm pretty sure that Lazaro does not work in the evenings. They are still often out of ingredients but it seems to be less often. Of these 3 times I've been back, all the employees are super helpful and courteous and fortunately Lazaro has not been there. Raising my review to 2 stars purely because of all the other employees good attitudes.
Update 10/3/22:
They started getting a bit better with available ingredients about 3 months ago. I have removed 2 stars due to horrible attitude from the current manager of the store. 1 star because it's still chipotle and the ingredients are still better than Taco Bell. But not by much at this point.
See the complaint sent to Chipotle below:
"I've been coming to this location for 6 years and never been treated as rudely as this manager (Lazaro Orbay) treated me twice in a row. I visited the location last week and he first give me issues because I asked for a little more cheese when he only gave me like 1 tablespoon to start. Then he tried to tell me my reward through the app was invalid when it didn't expire for a month. He had an overall very standoffish attitude and was not friendly at all. I decided to let it go and move on with my day.
When it happened again today with the same guy, I could not let it go. I called him out on it and asked why he was being so uncooperative. This is not the type of person that should be managing a store let alone even be employed in a customer facing job. If this was my employee I would be embarrassed.
This location's employees usually have been friendly but these last 2 times I have seen Lazaro there recently, these have been my experiences. One time I can let slide because maybe someone is having a bad day. But twice in a row (Friday then Monday) is simply bad customer service. I likely won't be returning to the location until something is done to address this...
Read moreI ordered online & their system had crashed sometime between the time I ordered and arrived to pick up my order. When I got there, they said that the system had crashed and no orders had been received and that I would need to call a number to get a refund. That was alright with me because I understand technology isn't always reliable. The number I was provided was a nonworking number. So I got online to the chat bot the employee recommended to me & it ended up just being a situation where the wheels were spinning but nothing was happening. While waiting, their systems ended up going back up, so I asked if they could make my food and they said no and that I need to get a refund. Just flat out rejected. So, I decided to Google the Chipotle customer service and was given a completely different number, but it worked! I ended up getting to speak with a live agent and he was 100x better than anyone in the store! I was given a refund but they said it'll take 3-5 business days. It's all good, thanks to the phone rep. The store manager and the young man at the register were SO dismissive. I don't feel like I was even mad, and I tried to be as decent as possible given how they treated me... like I was bothering them by asking about my order, asking how to do things and I just got a little confused and needed some guidance on their end. I've NEVER been to a company where you could prove that you paid for your order and they flat out refuse to make it for you and make you jump through hoops just to get your food and spare them the 30 seconds of being a compassionate human. I'm assuming it bothered them when I told them I chose their store over the new Nampa store because the new store had such bad reviews. I've worked customer service ever since I was 17 and run my own business. If I ever had one of my employees dismiss a customer like these two did, I'd cut them loose on the spot. Customers are the blood of your business and honestly, the employees paycheck. I've always had a great experience at this store, but I haven't been here in a few years. I'm baffled & extremely disappointed. I'll never go to...

With this chipotle, it is one thing after another. Portions, online pick up orders being incorrect, online orders being extremely late (hours), food being old or gross, etc.
Last Wednesday, I went in. An employee told me it's cash only today and online orders are down. Which is annoying, but I get it, technology issues happen. Luckily I had cash on me. I ordered my bowl, the girl put in about 4 pieces of rice, I had to ask her twice for more. The portion issue is every time, and that's why I decide to not order online anymore, it's ridiculous. But whatever.
I get to the register to add on 2 bags of chips. The cashier said the ONLY way you can purchase chips is through online.. There's no posted sign about that. And last time I came they were out of chips, which again, annoying but I get it.
Well anyways, there's a whole bunch of chips right there. In view. Sitting out. I ordered 2 bags, and she's like oh those are for on line orders. I was like, so you're out of chips or those have been spoken for? I thought online was down??
She's like yeah.. Umm.. No chips.
I said, k so are those spoken for and purchased, or not purchased, or not for purchase???
She was really hard to talk to, and she ended up getting who I assume is a manager, and that employee was like, we have to reserve those for online orders
I SAID I THOUGHT ONLINE WAS DOWN????? can you please just ring up 2 bags of chips? There's no sign posted and no way to know I need to order online.. Which is actually down anyways...
She was basically not going to sell the chips that were there. We went back and forth on it. I said, so I'll just stand right here and place an order for online to buy 2 bags of chips if that's what it takes.. but if online is down, I just need to know the procedure to buy the chips. Just tell me what I need to do to purchase these chips!!
She said well if you're just going to do online, then we will just ring them up.
I've been stewing on this interaction for...
