Our Hotel Room Tour 🛎💜 📍Wyndham Garden Miami Airport Hotel @wyndhamgardenmiamiairport #hotel #hotelroomtour #travel #florida #floridatiktok #fyp #foryoupage

I booked this hotel a 2-3 months ahead of a summer vacation for myself and 3 friends. We got 2 rooms. We arrived at 1pm. When I walked in, the hotel spelled like a spa! I loved the smell. It was clean and nice. I noticed a bar and a snack area. When I went to check in, I was told check in wasn’t until 4pm. There is an option to check in early but you have to pay a fee that’s like $60… I was told that they would call me if rooms became available. We parked car and walked around. We came back around 3:10pm and i waited in line. I saw people checking in but I never got a call… When it was my turn, I went to a different lady. The guy who told me he would call me (Jason Gomez- Front Office Agent) told me that he was just about to call me but it got busy…. While I understand it gets busy, there were 2 agents at a computer, plus Jason and at least 1-2 more people.. I had came at the 1pm. It’s POOR customer service if you tell someone that you’re gonna call them when a room is available but then don’t especially after droving 12 hours from NC and needed to shower and get dressed to do some activities… This was not a good way to start our 5 day vacation. When I got to my room (507), it was clean and very presentable. No issues. I went to the other room (508) and the first thing I noticed was that it smelled like weed… both me and the person I’m rooming with smelled it. Our room didn’t smell like that. Day 2: Went to breakfast and came back. Room had received some cleaning as bed was made and things were restocked. However, they only replaced 1 towel…. I decided I would go the hotel gym and then downstairs for the towel. After the gym, I went to front desk. Jason, the Front Office Agent, checked an area and said there wasn’t any. He tried calling housekeeping on the walkie-talkie, but didn’t get an answer. He told me he would call and have someone bring it to me. I asked if they do laundry service and he told me they do dry cleaning but not normal service. He looked for a pamphlet but couldn’t find one and said they were out. He said he’d call my room with the number. I go back to my room and wait. 20-30 mins later, still no towel and no phone call from Jason… I go back downstairs. Jason said he tried calling housekeeping 6 times but no answer. He also said they were reconfiguring the walk-in talkies… He checked the same area before and came back out. A housekeeper was walking in the area he checked and asked them for a towel in Spanish. (SN: I know Spanish). Jason told me the housekeeper would bring it up to me. I went back to my room and waited. The guy came about 5-10 minutes later with towels and wash cloths! Day 3: They did service to the room but again, no towels. I went to front desk and asked for towels. I was told they will service the room. I told the lady they did but mo towels. She apologized and wrote my room number down. An hour passes and nothing. I go back to front desk and a different person was there. He went and checked. He came back with the 2 towels I needed. Overall, the hotel itself is very nice! Apparently it was just opened in 2020! I love how they have carpet by the bed area so you don’t have to step on a cold floor. The layout of the room is beautiful! Unfortunately, you don’t really get a good view. Another downside was that there was no iron in the room, which normally pretty standard. However, this could be overlooked. Another thing to note is that the housekeeping staff barely know English. While I don’t expect other races/people to be an expert in English, it makes things hard when customers who don’t know Spanish try to communicate with housekeeping staff and request items. Poor customer service/lack of follow through negatively affected What easily could’ve been a 5 star review…

So I’ll say it is close to the airport so the shuttle ride isn’t too long. The room layout is cool and modern. However plan on a lot on hassle. The check in process is super slow. We stayed one night before our flight out and one night upon our return before driving home. On the first night the a/c shut off in the middle of the night. The coffee machine was covered with coffee grounds and obviously had not been cleaned. The sugar packets in the room had already been opened and the provided lids didn’t even fit the cups. The sink base has a bar that sticks out which will definitely hurt if you run into it. The elevators are slow and every time I used one I had to share it with staff member with a cart. On one of those occasions it was a food cart and the staff were playing with the mushrooms, no gloves. The shuttle to the airport dropped us off at a random place in the parking garage with no direction on where to go (it was not where the buses are supposed to drop off for departing flights). Upon our return several of us were waiting on a shuttle to pick us up. When we called to let them know we were waiting they advised the bus wouldn’t be back to the hotel until 805p and they would let him know. That was almost an hour wait time. During that time we saw other shuttles arrive and pick up several times. With a name such as Wyndham I expected more. It was ridiculous! They never seem to answer their front desk phone. I was sent through the electronic menu four times before someone answered and immediately put me on hold. After 20 min on hold I hung up. When we drove to dinner after finally getting back to the hotel and checked in again someone had put a flier on my truck. It was now completely stuck to my windshield. 🤬 they are supposed to have parking lot security (and I saw the little cart with lights) however obviously he isn’t doing his job. I definitely do not recommend!

My stay at the hotel was fantastic! From the moment I checked in, the friendly staff welcomed me with a warm smile. The check-in process was quick and efficient, and before I knew it, I was heading to my room. I loved the added security feature that required my room key to access the elevator - it added an extra layer of privacy.

After a long flight, I was exhausted, so I took a refreshing shower in the beautifully decorated bathroom. The firm bed and cool AC (set to a comfortable 69 degrees) ensured a great night's sleep.

The next morning, I enjoyed a delicious breakfast included with my room. The omelets with ham and sausage were fresh, and the glass of orange juice and coffee were the perfect accompaniments. While there were other options available, I stuck to my favorite eggs. The breakfast was well-organized, and I appreciated the attention to detail.

After a productive day at work, I returned to the hotel and headed to the bar restaurant, where I met some great people. We chatted about life, shared some laughs, and unwound over a glass of wine. It was fantastic to connect with fellow travelers and locals alike. After a wonderful evening, I retired to my room to relax and unwind. My bed was firm with nice covers and four pillows - exactly what I needed after a long day.

The next morning, I started early with a gym session. The fitness area was well-equipped, and I was able to stick to my exercise routine. After a quick shower, I headed off to work. Unfortunately, I overslept a bit and didn't have time for breakfast, but the bed and pillows were so comfortable that I couldn't resist staying in a bit longer.

In the afternoon, I returned to the hotel and was greeted with the same warm smile. I felt right at home and decided to have dinner at the restaurant. The steak with veggies was delicious, and I enjoyed two glasses of Malbec wine. For dessert, I had a tiramisu, which was heavenly. The price was reasonable - $60 for the steak, two glasses of wine, and dessert. Our waiter, Nicolas, was attentive and friendly, not at all like some corporate types who can come across as snobbish.

Overall, I had a great experience at the hotel. The service was excellent, the decor was upscale, and the value was unbeatable. I'm already looking forward to my next visit, whether it's for work or family enjoyment in the city, or even as a stopover before embarking on a cruise from the...

This was a great place to stay for the night before our cruise. They have a free airport shuttle. It does only leave the hotel every hour on the hour and gets to the airport about 10-15 mins after the hour. When we called to let them know what door we were at they sent a link to track the shuttle which was great. We waited inside and when we saw that the shuttle was approaching on the tracker we went to the waiting area.

Check in was quick and easy. This is when you can sign up for the shuttle to the port of Miami. They had 2 times 10:30 and noon. It costs $15pp. We signed up for noon and were given late check out (noon) without even having to ask. Shuttle was great. Got us to the port in 45 mins even though there were 9 ships in port and the music festival was also going on so traffic was really bad.

Room was clean and well stocked with liquid hand soap and lotion, decent quality shower hair and body wash and coffee. Many people have complained about having to walk through the bathroom to get to room. This is actually a great feature. You're not just walking through a bathroom. It is its own good sized space with a door that separates it from the main room. My husband is an early riser and he was able to shut the door, shower, shave, dress and make coffee without bothering my sleep at all.

Breakfast is not free. It costs $20pp plus a hidden service charge which is my only complaint about this place. Total cost for 2 was $50. Is the breakfast worth $20? No, but it is good quality and variety. We had scrambled and hard boiled eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, hash browns, oatmeal, cereals, yogurt, baked goods, waffles, fruit and other fixings. It was just convenient for us and with the price of our room, we still saved money over other hotels who offered free breakfast.

There is a McDonalds next door and a subway a block away among other food options. There is also a Circle K next door with snacks, water, and a good variety of 12 packs of soda to take on the cruise.

Had no problems getting our deposit back.

Will definitely stay here again before our...
