Simpson's Motel — Hotel in Middle Township

Avoid this place like the plague. Let me preface this by saying we have small children and make sure to check for bed bugs and other hazards when we stay at hotels or motels. We checked in around noon on 9/10/16 and were given room #114. Right as we walked in, we were overcome by the scent of Pinesol and wet dog. There was a stained mattress leaning against the wall and the carpet was stained. We asked management for a different room and he gave us room #118. We did a quick inspection of the room and left to eat. We didn't even unpack and went straight to the boardwalk. When we came back to our room, my husband checked both double mattresses in the room. Sure enough, he found BED BUGS on BOTH beds. The bed bugs were under the mattress closest to the headboard. There were black dots (droppings) on the box spring under the matteress and the bugs that we saw were plump like recently fed. After being accused of throwing the bed bugs on the bed to get out of paying for the room, we were finally given a refund after having to argue with management. PLEASE, if you decide to stay here or anywhere, check for bed bugs under the mattress and behind the headboard. Bed bugs...

Spent three of the most horrible nights of my life in this s&@t hole. No extra pillows available. You got one towel per guest for the duration, NO room service or fresh towels for a three night stay. WIFI worked when it felt like it. AC so noisy it became a choice of sweat or sleep. Frig in the room was a warmer than the make believe room micro wave. Although they did provide a community microwave located, where else but in the parking lot. No joke, this place was unbelievable. And to top it all off, the owner is a bold faced lier and a complete jerk. NEVER...

I stayed at this place many times before and there was an older couple who were indian, didn't speak the best English but they were fair and nice to me. But yesterday I went there and there was this younger couple who were very rude and had a bad attitude. If they are their kids and they take over then it might as well be closed. I asked for my money back because I found out from a woman I know that the room I just checked into was treated for BED BUGS a second time. I asked for my money back.
