Mattress Firm Kaleidoscope — Hotel in Mission Viejo

This review shouldn’t reflect the service of this particular store, but Mattress firm as a whole.

We place order for a high end adjustable base over the phone. We originally told that the base would be delivered the following day but as we finalized the order were made aware that it was now 2 weeks out.

2 weeks go by and we received a base that had been punctured during transit, which after watching cameras believe the drivers were aware of and purposely didn’t draw attention to. Upon reaching out to customer support we were met with “technically you accepted the shipment and mattress firm is not responsible,” however after back and forth, and proof of damage as it came off the truck MF agreed to replacing the base, and waiving Delievery fees as if they were providing a service vs correcting their error.

They continue to imply that as customers we were in the wrong, and that we have handled the situation incorrectly.

We’re out another 2 weeks on top of this while MF has not offered any genuine support.

The one star is for the delivery. We paid 100 dollars for a mattress delivery and mattress removal. When the delivery guys got there I was told that they won’t take the box spring due to a blood stain on it. I informed them it was not blood it was a stain that happened during a move. So I ended up having to take it down stairs, I informed them that I can’t lift it due to a severe injury. They said well we aren’t movin it. So I ended up moving the mattress myself causing my back to hurt even more than it does. I had to call the company to have them come back for the mattress which had nothing wrong with it. Not even an apology from the person I called. Spent over 2 grand for a new bed for sure will not be coming...

First one daughter purchased her first a mattress in the San Francisco. After shopping multiple stores she was able to get a great deal from Matress Firm. Then our second daughter Shoppes around in LA and she also ended up getting what she thought was a deal on a matress that she really liked. So then next thing you know it’s time for mom and dad to get a new matress a few months later. After shopping around a bit we ended up finding a Cal King matress we really liked with an electric base with a great promotion all at Matress Firm. So we stepped up and followed our daughters lead.
