Hands-down the best hotel I have stayed at the staff was amazing it was immaculately clean I had absolutely no issues bringing my service dog and they made sure we were accommodated great through my entire stay. I stayed for four nights and honestly it was so nice I could’ve lived there. The manager Abby at the front desk always had a smile on her face and was ready to help as well as the other front desk clerks that I had help during my stay. Housekeeping came and knocked every morning after checkout time around noon to make sure I didn’t need any services or anything else for the day. Laundry was free I have never stayed anywhere we’re laundry was free before there might be places but I am unaware of them. The washers and dryer‘s works perfectly to and the laundry soap in the shop was very cheek. And I don’t mean in low quality they had tide and gain and every other namebrand you could think of for very low prices. The store was all great thing to have during my stay two and everything was very reasonably priced. Other hotels I’ve stayed at charge you an arm and a leg for small items you may have forgotten or something you just need at the moment, but candlewood has it for about the same price you’d pay at a store which also was unheard of to me. Overall this place just absolutely exceeded my expectations I will not hesitate to stay here again if the need arises. If I could give them 10...
Read moreI stayed at same hotel about 5 weeks ago and it was a much better stay, except now the Cupboard is up and working and so is the hot tub. I was not greeted as an IHG Rewards member and when asked if I had stayed at the hotel before, and I replied YES, I was given the full speech about the entire hotel anyway. I was not greeted one time in or out of the hotel after I checked in during my 4 night stay. I was put in a room I did not book and had to demand the room I did book, which took 20 minutes for the manager to inspect, and still was not clean. The bed was clean but a King bed had full sized pillows on it, really?! I slept terrible. The floors and bathroom were dirty and there was a dish in the microwave. I like this hotel because of the features it offers but the carpets really need shampooing in the rooms, the staff is non-existent at the front desk and the housekeeping needs desperate attention. Don't walk on carpets barefoot! And please put the king sized pillows back on the king bed so I don't have to bring my own next time. This was not a good 4 night stay, and I will be making these trips monthly. Really needs improvement for my next stay. Please?! And thanks. I also stay in other IHG hotels for business. I really expected a more...
Read moreI stayed in a room with one queen bed for a long weekend at this property and liked the full size refrigerator w/freezer, stovetop, and microwave as well as the relative spaciousness of the room, comfortable bed, and mostly clean presentation (except for some of the dishes stored in the dishwasher). I was surprised that very few towels were placed in the room (maybe they've had problems w/theft??)but exchanges were possible at the Front Desk. The young adult female Front Desk staff person I encountered the most was almost entirely dour, short in her replies that bordered on rude, and not at all hospitable to me. A young man was a bit better yet not particularly friendly either. (Two other female Front Desk staff were friendlier and more hospitable in singular brief encounters).||At the time of my visit, apparently no housekeepers were scheduled to work Saturdays or Sundays and therefore garbage in the Laundry Room and receptacles at the end of hallways was overflowing and unsightly. The outside of the property needed some attention due to cig. butts, various trash around the building and in the parking lot. On further visits to this town, I chose not to stay at this property as there are better and kinder...
