Please, please don't stay here! I'm a Platinum Member. As confirmed by Best Western Corporate after our stay, the child age is under 18, yet this location charged an extra 10 for our 14 year old daughter stating the Best Western age is 12 (they lied obviously). I requested the highest floor. There were very, very few cars when we arrived, yet we were simply put on the 2nd floor. Then everything is supposedly so strict due to Covid, but the refrigerator in our room had a nasty lump of who knows what in it. When we complained, they only offered to open the room next to us to allow us to use the fridge in there, but kept repeating not to touch anything else. NO apologies! The sink and tub had hairs, etc. We had arrived late due to this being an unexpected stay so it was just what it was. Before 7am there was the constant noise of a washing machine and a loud humming next door. Then shortly after 8am two cleaning ladies were fighting unbelievably in the hall over what seemed to just be the trash. Even though we'd had very little sleep, at this point we just decided to get ready and leave. As I was putting on my shoes in the chair, I could see bottle tops and such (trash) under the bed where that too had not been cleaned. After not getting any type of better response over the fridge, we just realized complaining there would do us no good. We attempted to call Best Western Corporate who is no help either. They basically simply said that isn't their policies and they'd reach out to the upper management at the hotel. Well, the guy we dealt with was supposedly the owner so what good does...
Read moreMy wife and have stayed here a few times. This is the hotel in the area that has a hot tub in the room. Over the last year it’s has started to go downhill in the form of maintenance. The room we were in this last time the shower head was not secured properly so when I was trying to adjust it it was moving the pipe behind the drywall. Also the plastic toilet handle was cracked and felt like it was going to break when flushing.
THE WORST THING WAS THE DESK CHAIR BROKE THE FIRST TIME I SAT IN IT!!! You could clearly see someone tried to repair it. “Judging by the patch job on the headrest “ when I sat down and tried to roll it backwards one of the legs BROKE!!! Sending me falling backwards. I didn’t get hurt and to be honest it was kinda funny and took me a minute to get up. To put it in perspective I am 5’8 and 165/170 pounds so I’m not really that big of a guy. My wife walked to the front desk and told an older man about it and he said ok to her. Keep in mind this was in the first hour of us checking in. Didn’t offer a replacement, or even come to see what it looked like. We stayed for two days, when we checked out i reminded him about the chair and that it was broken. He told me that it wasn’t broken when i checked in. Clearly it was in bad shape and should have been replaced a long time ago just due to the fact of the shoddy repair work on the headrest!!! And it’s not like didn’t pay 336$ for two nights..
SO BEWARE IF YOU CHECK INTO ROOM 122 !!! FYI we will be going elsewhere the next time we want to get out...
Read moreThe clerk was pleasant and well dressed, the facility and the rooms were clean, however, Handicap access should have been on a first floor and guests should not be made to pay more for that benefit. I had to walk more than 150 steps from parking to elevator and then walk more to access the room. Very difficult to carry luggage, and medicines via multiple trips while using a cane, to get everything to and out of the room. I paid over $100 for this stay and though the amenities were good, the inconvenience was not worth it. If I wanted 1st floor, I had to pay more. Disabled people are on FIXED incomes. The airconditioner was noisy, but the traffic noise was worse, therefore, a poor nights rest. The remote still didn't work even after returning it to the front desk to have the batteries changed, the refrigerator didn't cool and the bathroom floor felt like it was caving in. After this last visit, testing extremes in price ranges and experiencing subpar rooms and inconsistent service, we decided to start trying other chains. Best Western just does not provide...
