ICE COLD SHOWERS. Before writing this review I waited to receive an email asking about my stay so I could voice my issues there but it's been a week and no such email. Dating back to reviews 5+ months ago I see guests complaining of ice cold showers and I am willing to bet they stayed in rooms 403/404, 303/304, 203/204. Why is that you ask? Cause that's what the front desk clerk told us they always get complaints about the water from those rooms. Then she tried to clean it up saying, well, they don't get many complaints but when they do, it's from those rooms. The complaints go back far enough.... why is this still a problem?!?!? This is after they moved us from 303 to 304 after 24 hours of not being able to take a hot shower. Once we dragged all of our belonging to 304, started the shower and got undressed to get in we realized that this water was cold as well. I'm not speaking of luke warm... not warm enough to my liking... no, ice cold. We got dressed, to head back down and inform guest services that the water in this room was cold as well. This time, we were given a key for 307. The desk agent called on the radio to have a manager check the water in the room as we were leaving. Instead of grabbing all of our things again, we went straight to the room to meet the manager who was checking the water. As we walked in, she exclaimed "this water is not getting hot either." The manager suggested we stayed in the original room (303) while we wait for maintenance to be called. 3 hours later maintenance is able to get the water warm.... not hot, warm. A water bottle left in the car warm.... We stayed here for 4 days and took cold showers for 2 days and warm showers the remaining. There is a gap under the door of 303 large enough to slide your hand under as it has no door kickplate. Your entire nights festivities are heard clearly in the hallway as well as any neighbors voices coming in and out of their own rooms. The transition piece from the hall carpet to the room tile is missing so there are rocks being kicked into the room. The bathroom shower door doesn't stay closed (also a previous complaint here) and the breakfast was all pork all the time. This is the second time I've visited the area with another trip coming in two weeks. Both Hilton properties have been utterly disappointing to say the very least and all I see are the same cookie cutter responses from management promising to make it right. But the guest are all experiencing the exact same problems month...
Read moreSo, came here for a business trip, we are contractors and were working in the nearby area. 1st off, the employees, when you’re nice and earnest to them, are quite equitable and diligent in their duties. You need something, they go out of their ways to make sure you have what you need. Their breakfasts… I ALWAYS looked forward to grabbing a plate and being able to sit down to enjoy it, whether at a table, or in my truck! If not for the rush of my coworkers, I might have been able to factually enjoy it once… Going out for a swim after a long day out in the sun? Need some towels? Politely ask, and ye shall receive! Want some extra omelette du fromage and biscuits and gravy? They got it ready to be made for you!
If they ever cleaned my room while I was there, they never touched any of my things that in it. Call me naive, but we are paying for our rooms to be clean, not our stuff to be stolen, and they passed with full marks!
My only regret is not ONCE being able to spend even five minutes chowing down in the dining hall, take a few minutes enjoying a nice hot meal, reading a nice book…
If there’s one thing, as an early morning worker, that I would ask for: maybe a little earlier on the meal time. 6AM, most of us are heading out the door to our trucks, without a lick of that delicious and palatable food! If I’m ever out that way again, and we stay here, I want to enjoy everything that is offered… I also missed out on using the gym in all my rushing around, and barely able to get in the pool after each afternoon we got back.
Thank you, again, staff of the Hampton Inn...
Read moreWhen we arrived at check in it was very early in the morning, around midnight. The lady seemed friendly-ish after taking her smoke break. But she let me know that she was new and recently started working that shift. She literally “joked” that she didn’t know how to do anything but make the room key. She thanked me for being patient with her and I told her I understood and that we are all new at some point. The stay was fine, the hotel was clean and the door was sealed. HOWEVER, and this is a very very big deal. When I got there I paid with the new lady and gave her my card, since then I’ve had MULTIPLE unauthorized charges come through my account. I’ve received about 5 emails alone from my credit card (that I reserved the room with but did not pay with) and multiple fraud alerts on my debit card that I did pay with. I let the front desk know at check out and they let me know only one card would be charged.. WRONG. I’ve been receiving fraud alerts all day and at this point they aren’t even for the amount of the hotel room. There’s no way I could’ve stayed a whole weekend at a hotel and checked out with out paying! I feel like my card is being misused and I had to order another card. VERY INCONVENIENT. Still unresolved and apparently the manager doesn’t come in until tomorrow. DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE WITH YOUR...
