My wife booked the stay online and paid extra for the larger studio room. When we checked in she noticed it wasn’t the room we booked. We went and talked to the lady at the desk and she was trying to tell us that the pictures online were older pictures and haven’t been updated but we were in the room that we booked. My wife asked to look at the other room which the lady told us about and there was one vacant room but the ac was out. When we went into the room it was identical to the pictures online and was actually the room we were supposed to have but with the ac out they put us in an older handicap accessible room. It took us 3 days before we were actually able to move to the correct room and not one time did anyone try to offer to give us extra money we spent for the room that we didn’t get to stay in for half the time even though we requested that to be refunded back the manager ignored our request. I felt like at the beginning we were intentionally lied to about the room we were supposed to be in. It was a horrible experience, couldn’t understand the manager and I’m sure he couldn’t understand me or my wife. Both rooms we ended up staying in had poor lighting and some lights were missing from the fixtures. The correct room that we ended up in was on the 3rd floor and as soon as the elevator door opened there was a strong smell of vomit that filled the hallway. It was so bad we would have to hold our breath and rush to our room. I spent quite a bit of money during that stay and was supposed to be a enjoyable time to spend with my wife since I’ve been away for work for a month and she traveled to come and see me but half the time was spent being frustrated trying to get put into the room we paid for. Another thing to add to the frustration and the horrible experience is the maintenance guy that worked on the ac left used toilet paper in the trash can in the bathroom after doing #2 and that just shows how the room wasn’t looked over by house keeping before allowing customers to stay in it. I don’t recommend anyone to stay here, next time I’ll be staying somewhere else. Read moreOverall team experience I can go ahead and rate it a 0. Veronica the manager refuses to help us out with a problem that we had on October 1st. I had to file a complaint against her and her team. I had reserved on Sep 30, upon arrival they tell my husband he had no room even though he had a confirmation number. They tell my husband they didn’t reserved his room and that “that confirmation number wasn’t valid” I was charged $231 for 3 night with the original confirmation number that I had reserved and with the same number the receptionist said wasn’t valid. “How was it valid to charge me” they offered my husband a suite for a higher price and he refused. He said he wanted the same rate of $77 because it wasn’t his fault they didn’t reserve it. They agreed to the rate and he checks out on Saturday Oct 1 and I get charged $155 and some cents for the stay. I was charged doubled. Plus I was charged for 3 nights with an invalid confirmation number & they refuse to help me because they have paperwork done...

All the hotel staff were very accommodating and pleasant with anything needed. This hotel is 100 percent a step up from when it was Microtel. The owners and staff here are definitely taking pride in making this a nicer...
