Iron Thunder Saloon & Grill Monroe — Restaurant in Monroe

The establishment looks nice inside. I was very excited that they opened in Monroe but was very disappointed with the service. To start out, I went on a slow time of the day. In my expirience that's a better time to get good service. I was in a group of three, we got there and the bar tender yelled from across the restaurant just sit where ever you want. We picked out a table close to the other three tables that were already occupied. We sat there for 15 minutes, no menus so we could not even see that. Then the doors close to the kitchen opened up and two waitresses walked out. One came to our table and said you know what you are going to drink? I asked her what they had on tap? She rolled her eyes back and said there are to many to tell you. I asked her if they had a beer list to choose from. She walked to another table and got a list of beers. About 30 seconds later she said you know what you want mow? I jusy hurried up and chose some thing from the list. She came back with the beers and said what are you going to eat. My wife had not decided yet so I told her to give us a few minutes we wanted to chill out and have some drinks first. So every two minutes she came back and asked the same thing acting like we were an inconvenience to her. She didn't even try to be nice to us. We drank our beer order some food and tried to make the best of it. She brought our check and we felt like she was kicking us out. Cant wait to see the "owner's" response because as an owner they should not rebuut comments, just read and fix it. The "Owner responses" are hilarious. First off, I see previous reviews on how these women look. If you think you are going to a Hooters you are wrong. Hooters is the classy girl next door type, Iron Thunder is not. They are tattooed, thick, skinny, pierced and the opposite of a cheerleader. So with that being said this isn't your girl next door. This Iron Thunder is trash, food is trash, service is trash. Girls look fine, but they are not attentive. Husband and I showed up because we were invited by a friend who was there already. As we walked in immediately were told we're closed! There were still about 13 to 15 people at the bar and pool tables while the bartender handed a beer over to a patron. I've worked in the service industry for over 15 years. Proper response would be "I'm sorry we're closed or i already called last call." My husband and i are not of the same demographic so we were judged as we walked through the doors. We met our friend, couldn't get a beer. Left and won't come back. The best server this location had was Whitney. TERRIBLE PLACE DO NOT RECOMMEND! First and last time coming here. When my party and I first got here there weren't many people, so you would think service would be quick, but boy, was I wrong. We sat at a table and waited probably 25 minutes just to get the menus. the waitress who served us had a terrible attitude and didn't even greet us just straight up asked for our drinks. It took forever to get our food and mind you people who came after us got their food before we did! The waitress did not come check on us, She did not refill our drinks, I had to go look for her, she would pass our table and ignore us. The food was terrible the fry were soggy the baked potato was cold and i had to return my steak because it was well done instead of medium rare.
