The hotel could use some TLC to bring it up to at least 4 stars. The location is great, the room is large, and the staff is nice and professional. Our housekeeper was great! However, the hallway carpet is old, ugly, and filthy, the room carpet should also be updated (why was the carpet in the emergency stairwell newer?). The ceramic tub is old and hard to clean. The water pressure at the sink was too low and the shower was too high. The shower came out so hard, the stopper wouldn't stay up and we would end up standing in a tub full of water while showering. Luckily, my MacGyver-like hubby was able to concoct a device out of a plastic cup to keep the stopper from lowering. At one point, the left handle came off of the sink faucet and, again, hubby fixed it. A lot of the meeting room and other furniture is stained. We stayed a few extra days and considered moving to another hotel after our event was over, but decided not to bc we just didn't feel like making that effort. Based on our experience, I doubt we would stay here again unless improvements are made.

Front desk staff are very friendly. Room attendants were nice as well. Staff at the breakfast and taco night were happy and had a good sense of humor. Whole building was really clean. While sitting in lobby I watched as the front desk agents moved around and they were always busy cleaning up lobby and fixing furniture that had been moved. Room was spacious and it was very clean however it smelled like dirty feet up on entrance. Which was not so nice. Thought maybe it was due to the heater being on so I turned that off went to dinner but same smell when I opened the door to the room. The room attendant did me a solid when I asked about in the morning, whatever she did made the smell go away and it never came back for the week I was there. I really appreciate that she went above and beyond to make it better Customer service here from all was excellent. Room attendants fixed room and kept it super fresh after. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

We stayed here one night for a recent wedding in the Riverside/Moreno Valley area. The bed is big enough for 2 people. However, it was a tight squeeze for 4 people. And we were kind of surprised that the Ayres hotels do not have rollaway beds. 3 of us ended up squeezing together on the one big bed, and the fourth person slept on the floor.

We had no choice, though, but to get this kind of room because we had to have a roll-in shower for one of our family members, who is disabled. And this was one of the few hotel room types that actually had a roll-in shower and grab bars in the bathroom. There was no 2-bed hotel room arrangement with a roll-in shower, so we had to settle for a 1-bed hotel room arrangement that actually provided a roll-in shower.

Fortunately, the floor was quiet enough that we didn't have major disturbances from our next-door neighbors or from outside.

We have to admit that the customer service here was exceptional and fantastic from when we first booked our hotel room over the room, to the afternoon that we walked into the lobby and checked in, and until the morning that we checked out and left. The clerks at the front desk were very friendly and courteous. When I booked the hotel room over the phone with certain specifications and accommodations, the clerk who made my reservation was fantastic about making sure that our room was equipped with the proper ADA accommodations, complete with a roll-in shower, and with grab bars so that we could assist our family member to and from the toilet.

The professional housekeeping employees were really nice and cleaned up our room so well. And one of them was super nice and even offered to hold our door open when we first got to our hotel room, so that we could move everything into our hotel room with ease, while we assisted our family member who needed special accommodations.

I would love to give 5 stars because the customer service was exceptional and fantastic.

However, I am giving 4 stars because I think there should be some room for potential improvement. Since many contemporary hotels nowadays have rollaway beds, I think it would have been nice to at least have this option.

The complimentary Internet wi-fi was not too strong, and we had to use the mobile data on our smartphones instead.

The free continental breakfast overall was ok. But the apple juice tasted kind of diluted. My suggestion would be to at least provide juice selections that don’t taste watered down or diluted. The orange juice and the coffee selections were fine.

Overall, though, I wouldn’t mind staying in an Ayres hotel again. I just think there is still some room for...

Best Hotel and Spa in the Inland Empire by far!!! The top floor room that I was in was just wonderful, ceilings so high that you feel like you are in a castle, the two queen beds in the room are super comfortable, real pillow sizes and 4 per bed plus one extra in the closet!! I've stayed in some hotels that make the pillows into squares that are half the size of normal just to make them seem fuller I guess, and I hated that. Really large chilling also has a ceiling fan to help the cool air stay down where you want it..or hot air if you want. The furniture was elegant but felt a bit office style (I guess for business travelers) and all were clean and plenty of places to unpack and store your stuff. The little kitchenette is nice ( No Room Service was a downside). The bathtub/ Shower was quite large and a great soaking tub!!

The Breakfast you get is fantastic..Fresh cooked omelets however you want and are huge!! Bacon, waffles, potatoes..breads muffins, yogurt, little snack packs for travel...fresh fruit standard drink selections and a huge dining room and outside patio with lots of spots to sit and eat. You can get real plates and real silverware in the dining room or you can get it to go and eat upstairs. Small exercise room with a few machines and access to the spa (Appointment only) and the lovely private outdoor pool and hot tub. Full daily turn down and restock of towels sheets etc if you need. Laundry service I did not use so I can't vouch for it or the Spa so, I apologize for that but I'm positive they are as good as they come!!

The area is quiet, another hotel, A grocery store and several restaurants nearby. All in all this is a great place to stay in, the halls and rooms are very sound protected, so sleep or relaxation 😌 is wonderful. If your in need of a hotel and don't want to risk finding yourself in a seedy, dirty, drug haven, disappointment of a hotel and don't mind paying a little extra then go to the Ayers Hotel and spa, it is truly a 5 star above all the rest that I know of in the inland empire. Love it Love it Love it 😀!!! Hope this helps, sorry no photos but the view is what you expect in the Moreno Valley, Riverside and San...

Checking in was fast and easy, no hassle. The young lady helping me was very informative and friendly too. Our room was really nice and comfortable. We had a King sized bed, a sofa, work desk area, television, telephone, two night stands and a coffee table. Our bathroom shower was spacious, and had a big bath tub as well. The vanity area of the bathroom was nice and spacious and also came with a blow dryer, and excellent lighting. The “Kitchen area” had a mini fridge, microwave, coffee pot, ice bucket, cups, and a trash can. We thought it was a little strange to be right outside the restroom, but it worked out fine for us. The rooms at this hotel have the key card slot so one of your keys has to be in the slot to have your lights and air/heat working. We would remove ours whenever we left the room, otherwise it defeats the purpose of having it. Our room was very clean, the bedding was fine, you could see faint stains or marks on the end of the sheets that were tucked into the bed, other than that they were fine. The complimentary breakfast was wow! Spectacular, wasn’t expecting an actual cook or chef to be there making omelettes, they had a nice spread with loads of options. We had Christmas Day breakfast and it was crowded, but everything tasted great, cleanliness in there could have been way better though. Staff in the breakfast was very unfriendly and thats the one thing we really noticed, especially for it being a holiday. We were disappointed to know the bar would be closed for us to hang out at, especially the outside area we planned on having some friends meet us at the hotel for drinks and to exchange Christmas gifts, we had to settle for going to Applebee’s down the road and what a mistake that was, we would have much rather spent our money at the hotel bar or restaurant. Everyone else we encountered throughout our stay was friendly, housekeepers, front desk, and even other guests. This location is right int the heart of Moreno Valley you’ll be near everything and not far from other parts of the cuty or Riverside. We would definitely stay here again, thank you Ayres for a great...
