Misses the mark for us. Lots of potential. Great location but stumbles when compared against contemporary parks with 2024 expected services. The big one, and for us its huge, they seem to dislike pets. There is a mud filled dog run that's nasty after a rain however that is the ONLY place on property for dogs to do their business. ANY grass spot is off limits to dogs. I suspect what is going on is people don't clean up after their dogs but punishing good owners for bad owner habits doesn't cut it. We'll not likely be back for this alone but it's not the only issue. They have multiple washing/drying machine buildings but they take only quarters. It's 2025, get the machines online and app capable. Getting quarters when I, and many if not most others, don't carry any cash, also completely unacceptable. Bathroom facilities are decent. Showers etc but while the showers are large and individually enclosed there is no curtain so the spray gets anything damp in that enclosed area. That's kinda the story with this park. Potential but botched. Finally a thought that might get backlash but oh well. I always thought it was odd when an RV park put mfg year limits on RVs they will accept reservations for. But then we come here and there are many, many 20, 30 and probably 40+ year old trailers and coaches. I liked seeing a few old girls still chugging along but en masse like it is here, it does create a sense of age and degradation that permeates the park. Felt mildly unsafe. We had no issues but this is a review and if management sees this I bet if you upgrade a few key areas you will have no problem filling up every spot even with age restrictions for the guest vehicles. Because, the location is fantastic. Across the street from Morro Rock Beach. Walking distance to the harbor walk. Restaurants, bars etc. Unfortunately for us the bad does outweigh the good. Not likely we'll be back.

First time visiting Morro Bay and this RV park is perfectly located across from the dunes. Numerous spots and ours was a great location just steps to a gate and then onto the dunes or a short walk to the bridge. Views are stunning! Front staff was welcoming when I walked in to check-in for the week. Reason for 3 stars instead of 5: 1) Unable to book online. The office is state of the art with several computers and several employees. Website is nicely designed. To make or change a reservation, you have to call each time. 2) WiFi is horrible! We came down for the week so I could work remotely (good for personal usage, yet not compatible with my company's VPN.) Because of this, I have to go to a McDonald's to connect to my VPN for work purposes. When I called the office to express my disappointment, I was met with indifference and no empathy or what can be done to make things right. However, on day 4 of our stay, I was able to shut off access to the park's WiFi and use my personal hotspot (finally!) At that point, no further connectivity issues and no more going to McDonald's to work. 3) Courtesy in not being jammed up by others when trying to disconnect our tow-behind and then maneuver our 34' class A into our spot. Had 2 other guests in their pickups or 5th wheels not realize that others are trying to park. Suggest a pullout area for staging travelers waiting to check in. 4) Neighbors in the next spot were loud, vulgar, and brought in guests from 10:00AM to almost Midnight most evenings. These were also some of the people who were jamming us up as we tried to back into our spot. While I'm confident we will stay here again due to location and views and coastal access, I would welcome someone in leadership at their office to reach out and address these issues.

Location is convenient, ground are kept up very well. Walk across the street and the beach is right there. The staff was very nice and greeted us, they also have a little store for rv supplies. 1/2 mile to the bay/pier, restaurants and shopping. The beach is nice and we took nice long walks every day. Pet friendly for people who have pets, we didn’t. Bathroom and laundry facilities are decent. Washers are old but get the job done, you can use quarters or use an app. We didn’t spend a whole lot of time at camp, lots to do away from camp. Campers coming in every day. We stayed 2 nights and came back another 2 nights because of location. So we stayed a total of 4 nights on 2 separate days. Overall, great location, friendly staff and clean facilities.

Nice place for most part. However our first time staying there this last weekend was not good experience...We arrived on Wednesday. First 2 days were nice. Friday came around and all the tent campers came pulling in. Our spot 86 and about 12 other RV sites back 10 feet up to tent campers. Friday night was loud music, kids screaming all night, trash everywhere. Next Morning on Saturday I went down to office and spoke really polite with older lady in office i explained our concerns and asked if maybe they could move us, the lady was very short and RUDE. She said NO. And then she said we are booked. She didn't want to hear anything I had to say. I couldn't believe the attitude she had. So I left and went back to my site. Saturday afternoon came around and all the (tent campers) were having huge party's. People everywhere. We couldn't even sit outside our trailer. My wife and I went for walk around park, counted 27 sites that were open . Saturday 5pm music was loud again, kids running thru our site screaming. Looked at my wife said we are LEAVING. Loaded up and drove 5 hrs, straight home. Keep in mind it was our 11 year Anniversary to the day . Thanks you Morro Bay Dunes for completely ruining our vacation. Anybody wanting too stay here be advised if your by the tent camping sites be prepared for no peace.... we will...
