when i checked in i asked if my room had a handicapped bathroom as i have recently had surgery i was told i would be placed into a room that was. i booked a king room with a sofa and was changed to a queen room with a chair. the room was very small compared to the one i booked, the curtain was torn, and the blackout shade had holes in it. i was asked for a 80.00 deposit on the room since i had booked through a third-party agent i asked when the money would be returned since i was traveling and need the money for expenses. I was told the money would be returned when i checked out. I am home and still waiting for the money to be credited to my account next time i will pay cash and get it back the same way The hot tub had a mountain of suds in it and needs a good cleaning around the rim by the steps also not enough towels were set out several guests brought some from their room the heating and cooling unit kept shutting off and at one point i self-shifted to cool from heat even though the temp was set at 70 i woke up to a freezing room and found it at 62. i had to turn on the vent/light in the bathroom and shut the door from the light to cover up the sounds from the hotel so i could sleep paper thin walls the bed was extra firm and even sleeping on top with a comforter it was uncomfortable. There were black bits on the tub walls and around the drain. breakfast was weird eggs and potatoes with cheese on top (dairy allergy) and some over spicey sausage the cereal was sugar bomb plus with only two choices the hard-boiled eggs had been frozen at some point and not edible only thing i was able to eat was a bagel no fruit other than some mushy apples limited tea selection very disappointed after reading...
Read moreThis weekend's stay... Room - clean, couch a bit sagged and a little stained Bed - very comfortable Bugs - Thankfully none Towels - plentiful Bathroom - clean and good water pressure in the shower Staff - very friendly and helpful, Thank you all so much! Keep up the good work. 😁👍 Breakfast - warm, delicious, and plentiful Environment - halls throughout fresh the first day, but Saturday night all hell broke loose with people who looked high or drunk wandering aimlessly and horrible smell of cigarette smoke and at one time I believe I smelled weed. Smoke still lingered Sunday morning and the elevator smelled like barf.
Suggestions - There needs to be another garbage can by the breakfast area to dispose of food prep refuse, rather than making a trip all the way across the room with a drippy waffle batter cup. There need to be much stiffer and well-advertised fines posted for smoking in the rooms. I heard there was only a $5 fine for smoking and I don't believe that will deter anyone from polluting the air in what is supposed to be a clean fresh environment and a good experience. Some people have asthma that can be set off by cigarette smoke. Be conscientious and make the consequences much more weighty to discourage such inconsiderate behavior.

A year ago....... "This place was warm, clean, wonderful breakfast, and friendly staff. The beds are very comfortable. I had an issue with the window being cracked and the manager, H.D., gave me and discount and a different better room. He was so friendly and really made my stay better and more...
Read moreI worked late and had to be at work early the next day. Instead of driving a long distance home, I stayed here for the first time to get some sleep. I was there for maybe 7 hours. They placed me in room 108. I woke up to live bed bugs crawling on my pillow and I found another one on the floor. I went to shower, and I was concerned with what I found on the shower wall - it looked like blood. I did not have bed bugs on me before entering. I placed the few belongings I had on elevated hard surfaces. I immediately packed up and left, notified the front desk and showed them pictures and videos with time stamps, and later called to learn that they found another bug after I left and were deep cleaning it. The manager, thankfully, gave me a full refund. I felt extremely on edge and uncomfortable (itchy) throughout the day. Fortunately, our on-site medic at work gave me an anti itch lotion which helped the bug bites. After being on high alert after finding the bugs, I scanned the room more and noticed how unclean it actually was - dust and hair accumulation, crumbs, the red splatters on the shower wall, condensation drips all over the inside of the main door to the hotel room. And, it smelled musty upon arrival. Perhaps I was too tired to notice the night before. All I wanted was to get some sleep and take a shower. I will never be staying there again and I’ve already told my colleagues...
