My family and I were having a great day and met up at this restaurant. Mind you among us we have over 35 years in the restaurant industry. The server was in a mood. Came up to our table with attitude. My cousin covered her expressive face and eventually left the table. When she came back, the waitress confronted her and wanted to know "what her problem was." I intervened and explained that she, the waitress, has been kind of rude since walking up to the table. Unfortunately, that opened the flood gates for this woman. Anything we calmly explained she went off on. Literally yelling at all of us in the restaurant. Everyone was staring. My 68 yr old mom asked for another waitress and she stepped at her, like ready to fight. (đłWhat!?!?) This waitress wouldn't stop. She kept yelling and screaming and making the craziest scene! I felt like I was being punked. Or now a days on a tik tok or something. I finally had to tell her multiple times to WALK AWAY. I swear if any one of us would've stood up the waitress would've become physical. The owner came over and he was trying to sort it all out and offered to be our server. She already took our order. He asked for it and she said, "No, you take it." She literally made the owner take our order over again. This disrespectful brat, and the owner defended her! Saying she was his best waitress! What a joke. We let it go and tried to have a good time anyway at the restaurant with each other. At the end of the meal, I said to the owner that, "Not only did she disrespect us. She disrespected you and your business. She's not your best waitress, she's a liability." He continued to defend her saying she's the best and like family. I'm not sure how he doesn't see what really happened. I mean are they sleeping together or what? I thought, well I did what I could and leave the rest to God/ karma right? It's been a while since this happened. Unfortunately, I am karma because somehow I stumbled upon her and found the picture and it hit me. Time to post. She literally hates her job and serving people. Not sure why she still has one after how unprofessional and deranged she was!
(When we asked what was good, she asked, "Where?" Lmao. This is why my cousin hid her face. Like where do you think? And then she said very matter of fact, "I don't eat here anymore." Wow, way to promote the restaurant-best waitress ever. Should...
Read moreUpdate: service here is slipping hard. I waited near 20 minutes to get my check so I could leave, after waiting 35 minutes to get food, and 20 minutes to sit. I hadn't really planned on spending 3 times longer than normal here doing nothing, but hey, still beats the wait at Denny's.

Why aren't you on your way there?
Everything you want in a breakfast diner: quick service, friendly staff, awesome owner who greets every guest who comes through the door when they're busy, and tries to help the wait staff as best he can.
The Food. It's absolutely epic in every way possible...
Omelets: overstuffed with your ingredients of choice, they're big enough to be a meal of their own, yet they also include perfectly cooked hashbrowns and either toast or pancakes
Skillets: plate is completely covered in a mountain of food. the likes of which a truckdriver might lose control of their truck on the downhill, and crash into the coffee creamer at the end of the table. Potatoes are epic, mixed in with your ingredients of choice, and like everything else, comes with pancakes or toast.
The Pancakes: The signature item which they draw their name from are perhaps the best pancakes I've had in 20 years. The last time I had them this good was at a little hole in the wall in Guasti CA called the Homestyle Cafe. The pancakes are fluffy, yet firm and a little springy as one should expect from a good pancake. they're flavorful, with a very light dusting of powdered sugar on top, and they resist syrup absorption, so they don't break down into sugary mush if you don't get to them in 5 minutes.
I have yet to complete a meal there in one shot, usually opting to eat half of everything on my plate, and taking the rest home for second breakfast, or...
Read moreSo sadly I am updating my review. I was so pleased with breakfast and service here, I came back. Unfortunately, I did not recv the same waitress but someone different who didn't have the customer service as the previous time. Ordered my eggs over easy, which I didn't feel was that difficult for a breakfast establishment but apparently so. My eggs came hard, which I absolutely hate, so pushed my breakfast aside and drank my tea. When the waitress came back, she said, "You don't want this?" I explained and said no thank you. She said, ok and took my plate not even offering to make it right, which was totally fine, but surprising. I later went to pay for my meal, which another employee gladly took off my ticket (which I did not expect and did not ask them to do) stating, and I QUOTE (are you ready)...."Sorry about that but eggs can be kind of tricky to make." I'm sorry, did I hear that right from a breakfast restaurant?! Whew, ok. If eggs are tricky, you might want to reconsider having a restaurant that makes BREAKFAST. I'm literally in shock. smh
I live in the area and have driven by many times but decided to stop and have breakfast today. Upon walking in, I was immediately greeted by the hostess who was incredibly friendly and sat me immediately. A waitress greeted me shortly thereafter and before you know it my breakfast was in front me. I always request my hashbrowns extra crispy but no one ever seems to take note. Not here! Attention to detail was top notch. I had enough crispy hashbrowns to serve 3 people. The meal was amazing, employees were all very friendly and on point. Can't believe I missed this diamond in the rough. This is a must stop...
