Rocky Rococo Pizza and Pasta — Restaurant in Mount Pleasant

Daren (manager) has horrible customer service. The pizza was made wrong three times in a row (the time before and two times in one day to “make it right”) and Daren did not try to fix the issue and actually argued with his customer intervening with another manager who was interested in fixing the problem.

The pizza was covered in sauce the first time then the second time had barely any sauce as if it was a “joke”. The pizza was completely flat with no volume and looked disgusting.

My friend originally only went up for corporate number as it was the second time the pizza was wrong and was not looking for a new pizza bc clearly it wouldn’t have been okay to have three pizzas in one day and the manager who was looking to ask how he could make it right was conversing with my friend as Derin interrupted as he was DOING A NEW HIRE!! I saw him go back and sit down with a young gentleman with social security cards. Darin was and is completely out of order to try to “fix” something that he was not being spoken to. He was literally in the process of a new hire and should have stayed in his I have had several issues with that man. And you are wrong about the “LIGHT” sauce. I said it did not need to drown in sauce. The regular amount without it overflowing over the cheese where the cheese is not being spread all open throughout the sauce would have been fine. I've been going to Rocky's for a long time. I've even been to this Rocky's several times. The cashier had to be reminder several times what our our was while ringing up the order. We were given a number and told the pizza would come to our table in 30 minutes. At 50 minutes we went up asking about our pizza. The cashier didn't remember we were there and our pizza had been ready for over 25 minutes. The edges of our pizza were done, but the inside of the of the pizza was still mostly uncooked dough. We ended up throwing away over half the pizza. Just before leaving the same cashier walked through the dining room asking each table if they ordered a to go pizza, the cashier walked right by the guy waiting by the counter for his pizza. This was by far the worst experience I've ever had...

My family and I went for pizza on this past Saturday... now I have celiacs disease which means realistically I can’t eat anything here but it’s my uncle’s favorite place. The gentleman was super kind and helpful carried everything for my mother grandmother and uncle as they all have mobility issues... I saw they had some fresh veggies and asked if there was any way I could just get a side of washed cherry tomatoes... he brought an entire bowl so I could eat something... he also came out and took some pictures for us without us having to ask for help... the service was absolutely amazing! I commonly struggle with eating out and those tomatoes meant the world to me. Thank you for the amazing experience and my family did say the pizza was amazing...
