Update: within 72 hr of posting I heard from 2 representatives of Ruby Tuesday Corporate and the local manager. All our difficulties had different causes and hopefully a solution is in the works. A new manager asked for a little time. Maybe 2 months? We are still debating if we will try it again. This update was posted Oct 2 just so you know. In case you want to be the people who go in Dec or Jan... please let us know what YOU find if you do. Original We ordered online, not too difficult. Pickup is inside. No signs where to pick up. After 5 min one of the waitresses appeared and told us pick up was handled at the bar. Another wait before finally being acknowledged then another wait. Total wait time @ 30 min. During that time our driver thought she heard someone say they were out of sour cream to another customer. When we unpacked our meal for three at home we were more than mildly disappointed. Not only was there no sour cream on the two dishes that advertised it. We were not told it was out in case we would have changed our order, nor given even a $,50 discount when they charge $1.50 if you want extra. The pumpkin cheesecake was good. Everything else was Taco Bell quality and Ruby Tuesday prices. The food was packed in high-quality plastic, but even though we had a very short distance to go and the temperature was in the high 70s, it was cold before got home. I think what we were all most concerned about was I ordered stuffed baked potato. I received instant mashed potatoes with cheese and bacon bits on top, potentially heated in microwave because the plastic around the top of the potatoes was warped as if overheated/melting. The cheese was not evenly melted and the edges were cooked to a crisp. It was missing sour cream. The quesadillas were supposed to have Pico de Gallo but had several leaves of head lettuce with pieces of tomato. Nothing was as pictured or described. We ordered before 6:30 pm. Two grocery stores are within a mile. When you run out of a mandatory ingredient you tell clients, offer a substitute or discount or best action, you DON'T RUN OUT! What happened to the BAKED potato in its skin? We will not be returning to the Mount...
Read moreThe worst experience I've ever had in a restaurant in my life. From the service, to the kitchen, to the manager. We had a party of 11 which apparently this location had never experienced before. We placed our orders around 6pm, about an hour later 9 of the orders showed up, 3 of them with the wrong sides. Two entrees didn't show up at all. We were told they were finishing up on the grill. After another 25 mins our waiter came back to ask what those two had actually ordered. Another 25 minutes later a raw steak that I didn't order showed up with the wrong sides and a moment later another raw cold steak with the wrong sides showed up. Every visit to our table the waiter would literally run away before we could even ask anything. During this entire process the manager only came over once and that was only to help deliver the meals that actually did show up. He never came over to update us or apologize for the 2 meals that took almost 2 hours to show up and were still wrong when they did. 2 other meals came out with zucchini instead of mashed potatoes so we asked for potatoes... 3 times we asked. They never came. When a meal with fries came out we asked for ketchup... an hour later, not kidding, an hour later he brought ketchup. The entire process took two and half hours and I never even got to eat. This location is an absolute joke from top to bottom. Horrifically bad service, even worse communication and irresponsible, absent management. Please do not waste your money by setting foot...
Read moreI've eaten here twice and I've ended up in the emergency room with food poisoning twice. My first visit, I ordered steak, medium. I got steak so under cooked that it was still cold. I sent it back and it returned charred and crispy like charcoal. I sent that one back and got...nothing, not until the others at my table were nearly finished with their meals. What they finally brought me was chicken, not steak at all. The manager insisted it was a "white meat steak." For my second visit I ordered shrimp. The cocktail sauce it served with was so rancid it felt like licking a 9-volt battery. The shrimp was also rotten with the texture of beef jerky wrapped in jello. I just wanted to pay for my kid's meal and leave; I had to wait 30 minutes just for the waitress and manager to argue if they should charge me for my rotten meal or not. The whole time I'm shaking and turning green trying not to vomit on their table. As soon as I got outside I lost it and puked up in the bushes. Twice. I couldn't leave the bathroom for 2 days after that and ended...
