Hotel Strata — Hotel in Mountain View

This is by far the best Hotel I ever stayed at in my life. I took my son out to give my fiancé a break from the stay at home mom life. She was burnt out and needed a break. I looked for hotels in the local area and stumbled upon this gem. Once I saw the bidet and air purifier in the room I was sold haha. I did an early check in on Saturday and when I walked into the room I was shocked. It was as if my mother cleaned it. I have never been in an Air Bnb or hotel this immaculate. Usually when I go into hotels I still keep some sandals on. Not here. The floor was so clean you can eat off it (don't recommend). My son on the other hand loved it so much. He was bouncing off the walls in there. His skin is very sensitive to pollen and other types of allergens but the air purifier in the room made it better for him. He usually wakes up every other hour to scratch his body. It was way less in here. He only woke up once throughout the night! He slept good. Played good. And enjoyed his stay. I met the Clerk Gerald I believe his name is. Very accommodating to all my needs. Seeing him work and clean the breakfast area shows he really cares about his position at Hotel Strata. He asked me if I had any complaints or concerns. I couldn't think of any. Only thing, is I wish I found out about this place sooner. I met Keirut (Owner) I'm sure I'm spelling all these names wrong... but he is a very stand up good guy. Please keep all these workers, clerks, housekeepers, and maintenance guys. They are doing one hell of a job. Thank you for the amazing stay. About to book another weekend...

Hotel Strata blew me away, the staff was super friendly, helpful and smiling all the time. I came here for a Google interview and stayed 2 nights. The breakfast was wonderful and different daily consisting of hot items such as bacon, sausage, pigs in blanket, omletess, waffles and more. More impressive was the thoughtfulness to each guest. They actually had Soy Milk, and other milk alternatives as well as Indian food! The room was amazing, exactly like the pictures and included a full kitchenette including an oven/microwave, fridge, plates the whole nine yards, The TV was massive and the room was huge, comfortable and spotless. I stayed in a different hotel 2 years ago and thought that was great until I came here and saw how much better this was. The room, I cannot say how much thought the hotel puts into each guest. There were toiletries, iron, hairdryer, pant press, and so much more! Nothing I could think of was missing and things I would have never thought were here. I've stayed at some very nice 5 star hotels abroad and felt very much now like I've stayed at a five star hotel here in Mountain View! The hotel is super kid friendly with a ping pong table and full work out room with excellent weights, machines, and treadmills, and bikes. My kids (10 & 7) loved it and were sad we were checking out. I visited in September for a business trip and my experience was beyond expectations. 5⭐ rooms 5⭐ service 5⭐ location!

Check-in was quick and easy at the front desk. There's complimentary tea and coffee 24/7 in the lobby and water bottle refill stations. While the exterior of the hotel might not look particularly noteworthy, inside the room is amazing! And despite being on a major road, it was very quiet and I had no issues with noise whatsoever (and I'm a light sleeper, so that's saying something!).

I had a room on the second (top) floor of the main building. It was super spacious, and felt luxe with the plush bed and pillows, huge TV, desk, large vanity, and bidet toilet. The room I had included a pants iron, regular iron + full-size board, yoga mat, hair dryer, mini fridge, coffee station (I think Nescafe?), and many additional amenities, toiletries, and features (like the motion sensor nightlights. There are also plenty of electrical outlets including 3-prong and USB-A sockets.

We also took advantage of the free morning shuttles to local offices. Kirit was a delight to get to know and talk with -- he is a people person and so friendly and accommodating. In fact, the whole staff was very kind and warm.

In terms of location, the hotel does have parking and is on a major road. However, it is walkable from Castro Street and is right around the corner from In-N-Out 😉

Highly recommend this hotel for any business or personal stays. Looking forward to staying here again for future trips to...
