Our latest trip to In-N-Out was nothing short of spectacular, and I can’t stop raving about it! We decided to swing through the drive-thru for convenience, and from the moment we pulled up, the experience was top-notch. The order taker was an absolute delight—super nice, friendly, and patient as we made our choices. They had this warm, welcoming vibe that instantly made us feel like valued customers, double-checking our order with a smile in their voice. It set the perfect tone for the meal to come!
Once we got our food, we parked and headed inside to eat, soaking in that classic In-N-Out atmosphere. The place was spotless, with that iconic red-and-white diner aesthetic that just screams California comfort. The staff inside were bustling with energy, keeping everything running like a well-oiled machine, yet they still found time to greet us with smiles as we settled into a booth.
Now, let’s talk about the food—pure perfection! The Double-Double burgers were heavenly, with juicy, freshly grilled patties stacked with crisp lettuce, ripe tomatoes, and that signature spread that ties it all together. The buns were toasted just right, holding everything without falling apart. We went for Animal Style fries, and wow—crispy, golden fries smothered in melty cheese, grilled onions, and that tangy spread were a total game-changer. To wash it all down, we had creamy vanilla and chocolate milkshakes that were thick, rich, and downright indulgent. Every bite and sip was a reminder of why In-N-Out never disappoints.
What really stood out was the consistency and care put into every detail. Even through the drive-thru, our order was packed perfectly—no missing items, no squished burgers. Eating inside let us appreciate the lively yet cozy vibe, with families, friends, and solo diners all enjoying the same fresh, high-quality food. The value is unbeatable too—where else can you get a meal this good for such a fair price?
In-N-Out’s magic lies in its simplicity, quality, and heart. From the friendly order taker who made our drive-thru experience a breeze to the flawless food we savored inside, this visit was a 10/10. Whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or lingering over a shake, In-N-Out delivers every time. We’re already counting down to our next visit—this place is a...
Read moreThis location is apparently incapable of preparing a burger with melted cheese on top of a warm patty with the lettuce and tomato between the cheese and the bun so the cheese doesn't melt into the bun. Most other burger chains can manage this, but not this In-n-out. After 15 minutes in the drive-through, waiting to place my order, they took my order....albeit with the order guy seeming to have difficulty understanding the idea that someone might not want the cheese on the bottom of the burger, cemented into the bottom bun. After he finally seemed to grok the order, it took 20 minutes more time in line to reach the payment window at which point I was told they couldn't make it that way unless I ordered 'cold cheese'. Melted into the bun (rather than placed between patty and lettuce) or the right order but with cold cheese or cancelling the order after 40 minutes in the drive through were the only choices. Since everywhere else was closed by that time, I agreed to them not melting the cheese.
Ten minutes later I got the burger. The cheese was ice cold. The patty was about the temperature of a milkshake. The bun was toasted, but below room temperature. In the end I was left wondering if they prepared everything and then stuck it in the refrigerator as an act of passive-aggressive obnoxiousness.
I won't be back even if it is one of the few very late night options...
Read moreFirst time at an In-N-Out. My west coast colleagues were always saying that In-N-Out is better than Five Guys, so I came in with high expectations. Ordered a double double with grilled onions, lettuce, and the house sauce, with a side of fries. Overall, no contest.
The good: Fries were well-salted without being too salty. Inner surface of bun of burger was nicely toasted, good crunch. Grilled onions were well-executed and house sauce (turned out to be sort of sweet-and-sour, reminded me of Heinz 57 crossed with honey mustard) was alright. Inexpensive. Quite inexpensive, actually. Probably could've gotten two burgers here for the price of one at Five Guys. But I don't need two burgers.
The not-so-good: The fries had a weird dry foam texture, like they had been freeze-dried before frying. I have never seen fries like this before, and I did not find it at all enjoyable. The burger patties were sort of thin and anemic, but that's both unsurprising and forgivable at this price point, since they are the most expensive part of a burger. Standard Kraft-type flavorless American cheese. The menu! I hear people ordering "animal style" this and "protein style" that. I have no idea what those mean, and they're not on the menu board. Neither is the list of vegetables they can put...
