Posh Bagel — Restaurant in Mountain View

I went to pick up my Postmates order and when I asked if the lettuce and cucumber I had requested in the “special instructions” section was on it, I was told “yes, I put it this time, but next time you have to select it when you order because you didn’t pay for it.” I explained that for the lox bagel that I ordered lettuce and cucumber was not an option for an added topping. I did not appreciate that the staff member seemingly assumed that I was trying to get out of paying for the toppings. After I had explained that it wasn’t an option on the app, the staff member said that she didn’t know about the app options but I needed to make sure that I selected the toppings in the future. This is an overpriced bagel shop with above average bagels and cream cheese and adequate service. The interior is clean in an upscale shopping center. The bagels are $20 for a dozen and cream cheese is separate and $5 per containers. So literally $30 for a dozen bagels with cream cheese.

The staff recommended purchasing 4 cream cheese containers for 12 bagels. There was a "problem with the Internet", which caused the person at the checkout to have trouble giving a receipt, though in the end a receipt was given.

Would I go back here? Based on the price, no. Would I eat bagels served from here at an event, yes. These bagels are soft.

Tried to give Posh bagel another chance since it is right next to my home. The bagels are not bad. Unfortunately, the rude employee (Vietnamese) was still there. I saw her bullying a customer when he notified them that they had gotten the wrong bagel. She said that they ran out and he would still need to pay for it. Amazing that in spite of all the complaints on yelp and Google about this employee, they haven't done anything about her.
