This was my first visit to the island, and it was during the Daffodil Festival. I'm so glad that I did my research and found this gem! It is a quick walk from the steamboat terminal, which was conveniently located to many restaurants, bike rentals, and shops. Upon arrival, I was in awe with all the beautiful flowers that adorned the entrance and on the patio! (See pic) I was greeted warmly by Amanda and Holden, who were so inviting and offered suggestions of what to do throughout the Daffodil Festival. As I walked through the foyer/ breakfast nook, every corner of the Inn was decorated with beautiful flowers. The Inn was impeccably clean. When I entered my room, it had beautiful sunlight and bright, cheery decor.✨️ A welcome note, a bouquet of flowers, decorated sugar cookies, and sparkling lavender water greeted me as I entered the room (see pic). On the second floor where I stayed, there is a water dispenser (that offers flat or sparkling water) and a Keurig available for all guests. They offer a complimentary continental breakfast (see pic) that offers things like sous vide eggs, mini frittatas, baked items like mini muffins and croissants, fruit, juice, coffee and tea, and Oui yogurts. It was very satisfying! 😌 When I came back to the Inn after my excursions, I could smell something baking, and sure enough, later in the afternoon, warm chocolate chip cookies appeared in the foyer! Yum! The patio was a beautiful spot to unwind (see pic) with a coffee or glass of wine (it's BYOB). Surrounded by flowering trees and flowers in every nook and cranny, I felt like I was in a garden oasis! They have a fire pit that they light every night. Throughout my stay, Amanda and staff were accommodating to my every need. ❤️ I was a solo traveler, and they made me feel so at ease and at home!
I can't recommend this beautiful establishment enough! From the graciousness of the host and staff to the beautiful decor and delicious offerings, it was one of the best experiences I've had...
Read moreThere are a number of excellent parts to the hotel. The location is excellent. Easy walk from ferry. The rooms have been redone very nicely with quality work. The daily housekeeping was excellent. The provide beach towels, umbreallas and chairs. There is a lack of storage even for a 3 night stay (which was us); they could have more shelves in the closet or have put drawers somewhere in the room. The indoor and outdoor spaces to hang out are very nice. The wifi is poor, but the cell service is good. The breakfasts were really poor. The tiny (1/4 cup) overnight oats (where were good, but even I as 5'10" and 145 lbs needed a couple). The yoghurt was put in 1/4 cup demi tasse bowls overwhelmed with chia seeds. The baked good were all tiny individual pieces all with lots of sugar (more like dessert than breakfast). There was a sliced breakfast cake with small sliced each day; again very sugared. No fruit. No plain bread. No cereal. My wife and I went to the stop & shop and bought bananas and fruit (the room had a mini fridge). We were not the only ones. The first morning, someone had baked goods and the said they brought it in. The second morning one group of six sent someone to the local bakery for baked goods. The third morning, a couple had breakcast on the porch with their bakery goods. Now, I dont mind there being no breakfast, but at $984 per night for a king room with continental breakfast, I dont expect to have to go to the Stop & Shop. It would get an A- with a decent breakfast, but that was so annoying (Hampton Inn is better), it...
Read moreIt is hard to describe with words what a wonderful property 21 Broad is! The entire space is lovely, both inside and out. The rooms, while a little small, are so restful and like every space in this hotel, beautifully decorated. The bathrooms are so pretty with many amenities included plus a few extra surprises! It was helpful to have the small fridge in our room and the 24 hr. coffee bar in the common areas was also very nice and well appointed. The sheets were excellent quality and very comfy although the pillows were a little too plump for my liking. All of the personnel were friendly, talented and helpful. The food each morning for breakfast was delicious and artfully presented. I also loved the little treats of cookies and candy that were available each day, along with the cocktail set ups each evening. The back patio was such a nice play to relax and spend time both day and night. The firepit was beautiful and also furnished a nice place to unwind after dinner. There are so many great things about 21 Broad that I have barely scratched the surface. Suffice it to say, I don't think anyone could be disappointed after staying there. The location could not have been any more convenient and you just have to step out the front door to find numerous dining, shopping, and entertainment possibilities within steps. It is bound to be one of the most popular places to stay in Nantucket in a very short time once the...
