My wife and I had a wonderful experience, if you decide to go before you choose to either sit in the tavern or the back patio ask where Peter is serving and choose him!
Not only did this man put up with both my wife and I, but when I jokingly said I would like this to come out in courses. He executed perfectly just enough time before our appetizers to have some convo and drinks, table clean up and then some of the sides/salads to come up, clean up and more convo and drinks until the first entrée we split, clean up and our final entrée to split, and enough time to settle down and finish our drinks before bringing the check.
Peter definitely was a professional and made our dinner a dream date. And just before we left, Peter brought us some expresso martini shots on the house.
Circling back to dinner though, we had ordered a lobster linguine which was to die for, an appetizer of fries, a small side salad, and lobster bisque. The food was top notch and I would 100% go again.
P.S.
My wife asked to get on the waiting list and it was 1.5 hours. We checked the bar areas for seating then I asked to get on the waiting list and it was 1 hour (again this was less than 5 minutes from my wife asking).
So we went across the street for some drinks (also highly recommend Ethos wine bar) and got texted in less than 10 minutes that are table was ready. Their wait time tracking is terrible and the most inaccurate I have ever...
Read moreI recently dined at the Brotherhood of Thieves, and while the food was absolutely outstanding, my experience was marred by some unsettling events.
Food: The culinary offerings were superb. The steak frites were cooked to perfection—succulent, flavorful, and paired with crispy, golden fries.
Atmosphere: The pub itself has a charming, rustic ambiance that provides a cozy and inviting atmosphere. However, the service and some of the patrons left much to be desired.
Service: Unfortunately, the excellent food was overshadowed by the service. The food took almost 1 hour to come out, with the steak coming out before the clam chowder. The bartender was also serving extra drinks to the patrons around us, it felt as though the bartender was pushing drinks onto guests who clearly didn’t not ask for them.
Unruly Patron: Adding to the discomfort was an unruly local seated at the edge of the bar, near the area where used drinks are typically placed. He was visibly intoxicated, drinking from multiple almost-empty glasses that were not his. This behavior was not only unsanitary but also disruptive. He harassed the bartender with unsolicited advances, making her visibly uncomfortable, and disturbed the woman next to him by incorrectly insisting she hadn’t ordered dinner, despite clear evidence to the contrary.
The food alone deserves five stars, but the service and uncomfortable interactions significantly detracted from the...
