Asher, Lee, Chef Todd, and the amazing team at The Corner Table Cafe’s Culinary Center put together a one-of-a-kind honeymoon experience for my wife and I!! I came across TCTC while searching for a fun activity to plan during our stay on Nantucket. Asher got to know which restaurants we’d be visiting while on the island, asked about our dietary preferences, and our culinary desires. With this information, she and Chef Todd crafted an amazing sushi-centric menu for us to make. My wife and I had been talking for years about wanting to make our own sushi rolls, and this culinary lesson was the best opportunity to learn the skills we needed to become beginner at-home sushi chefs! Chef Todd was eager and willing to let us get our hands (and aprons) dirty as we prepped the ingredients and Lee made sure the drinks we were consuming paired extremely well with the food. Both Lee and Chef Todd spent over 3 hours cooking and talking with us about their culinary backgrounds, love of the island, and other topics. The finished product was an amazing meal, great drinks, and wonderful conversation. While a private cooking lesson might give your wallet a slight shock, your stomach and heart will thank you for making the choice to go with The Corner Table Cafe’s Culinary Center! We cannot express enough our level of gratitude to the TCTC team for a wonderful evening! Thank you and we cannot wait to visit again!

We had our son’s first birthday here on the patio and everything was absolutely perfect! Great food and location. Chef Jason even made the most adorable vegetable bugs for the kids to eat. Highly recommend!

Very small quaint coffee shop located almost in a cellar you have to step down to get into the coffee shop. Great service love the ambience pricing $5 for a medium ice Brew coffee.

Food and drinks are good enough, cannot deny that fact. 4 stars for food only.

Service however is consistently deplorable here.Yesterday the girl behind the counter essentially threw the bag at me to pack my items myself (after asking for tip on that screen of course!).

Today is what made me write a review. My first negative review ever...

I waited for the 3 women behind the counter to finish their private conversation before ringing me up- about a minute standing in front of register and the only customer... Finally finishes and rings up my items but does not tell me a total, just stands there- fine. I swipe card and the machine asks me to add tip. 3 pre-packaged items that I retrieved from the fridge myself- I leave 10% just to ring up my items- whatever. Now it gets interesting..

I SAY THANK YOU In return she then proceeds to SNORT MUCUS OUT OF HER SINUSES AND THEN HOCKS ONE UP FROM HER THROAT...while looking directly at me from across the register ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING

a simple "you are welcome" would have sufficed. I guess she did not like the 10% tip I gave for providing zero service.

Blown away by this place. This is not a one-off!! Bad service from behind the counter is regular as you can see from many many reveiws. I've spent 7+ months here in the past 3 years. This is their standard of customer service. RUDE BEYOND BELIEF

Expect to be treated like scum and you will find the space cozy, food is made and packed with care,...

Not sure what people are on about with this place… the food is all in a refrigerator and you hand it to them to heat up (aside from a few pastries at the counter). I can understand and empathize with that as I, myself, work in restaurants. But when the staff there don’t seem to care about properly heating up the items, that’s an Issue. Especially at the elevated price tag.

I got their mac and cheese, as well as a ham egg and cheese sandwich. The mac and cheese… left much to be desired. Kraft would have been preferable. It was dry and flavorless and needed to be crisped up. The ham egg and cheese? Don’t get me started. It was cold in the middle and the ham was not well cooked. The egg was also a little gross and it seemed like those were not made fresh daily.

Unfortunately, the service wasn’t great either. The girls working seemed young so I’ll give them a pass, but they appeared to be talking about patrons and giggling — which is unprofessional and affects the cafe’s vibe significantly. I felt a bit uncomfortable sitting by myself in there so I left and ate outside on the wharf. Anyways, I’d skip it (go to Scooters for lunch or The Hub/Black Eyed Susan’s for breakfast — you’ll have a much better time and your stomach will thank you… I didn’t feel great after my meal at...
