I will never stay in this location ever again!!!! I booked two rooms one for my best friend and one for myself and daughter. When we arrived the hotel was busy but we got into our rooms and then did the tourist thing. The following morning I was informed that my best friend saw a cockroach in her room. She saw in in between the pages of the information book on the dresser. I was shocked and immediately told our group to place everything into their luggage and into the tub. We then went out to look for garbage bags with out any success. We then asked the front desk for garbage bags and then was give tiny bags. This was unacceptable. I went back to my room to give to my daughter and she advised me that she saw a cockroach also in our room. I then told her to shake her suitcase and all her clothing/belongings into the tub and place them into her suitcase. We all did this. I then went to the lobby again and told them I was checking out and I expected a refund for both my rooms for both nights. They advised me that they would not refund me both nights as it was well into the second evening (it was about 7 pm) and I argued with them that I now have to shake all my belongings out and be extra diligent in packing all my belongs into my suitcase as I did not want to bring these "pests" home with me. I was angry as there was no sympathy for the situation I was now face with. I was also stressed to the max. I had now book another hotel. While packing, my best friend received a phone call from the front desk advising us that we had 20 mins to check out or they would be calling the police. So they threatened us now. I was pissed and confronted the manager and told her I expected a refund and that her staff were rude and unprofessional with me. I advised every patron who was checking in that I found a cockroach in my two rooms. The hotel employee said I had no right telling people but I said " I did as I was protecting people from bringing the pest home with them". NEVER...
Read moreWe checked into the hotel on Friday twenty eighth around 3:30, we got the room keys to 171. Which was a dirty room there was trash and food containers everywhere, the beds were a mess and the room odor was awful basically someone just checked out of that room. I went to the front desk and they check is into room 190 that room was OK. On Saturday I had a fenty body glow that busted on the bathroom floor and got on the back door which I cleaned up. And somehow the body mirror on the front of the bathroom door became cracked. So room service clean the room and they told the front desk what happened. On June 1st it all begin with phone calls from the front desk. The first call was early in the morning "you need to come down to the front desk with your credit card and pay for the damages of the mirror". The second call about 3 hours later "if you don't come and pay we will call the police" a few hours later my sister answer the phone Cherry the manager says "WHEN ARE YOU COMING TO PAY FOR THIS MIRRIOR"! My sister explain to them we except the charge for the damages that's not an issue. But the amount of our stay was more than damages. The 3rd call I answered and Patrick (desk clerk) "if you don't pay we will call the police, be down here by 7 o'clock". We request a lyft to the airport and Cherry Gondi (manager) ran up the hill opened the door on my sister and thru in her face pin and paper saying "sign this or I will call the police" so I signed it so we could leave and I told her we're checking out a day early. We finally leave. But the disrespect will not be tolerated. They're fraud and vey misleading to an establishment ill never stay here again or any hotel, motel affiliated with them. Ill make sure my voice is heard. It was our first time coming to NYC for PRIDE, we...
Read moreIt is very off-putting when first arriving to pay for room. The man at the front desk was behind a plastic-glass shield looking border, between me and him. So that made it pretty obvious, the neighborhood of which I chose the hotel was dangerous and that was terribly unsettling. The ceiling in the bathroom of the hotel room, was caving in. It was slightly windy outside and all I could hear was immensely loud banging coming from another door across from mine. Especially because of the extreme wind, it was excessively cold in the room. So it was not a fun experience to find out that the heater, would shut off after awhile and stop working and you would have to continuously fidget with the dial, to get it to come back on. Sometimes it took an hour of fidgeting, to get the heater to cooperate. Before even checking in, I asked a man at the front desk that I preferred a jacuzzi tub. I of course had my own cleaners, and was planning on washing the tub pre use. To my surprise the room that I went into, had no jacuzzi, and I called the front desk individual. The man at the front desk over the phone, proceeded to berate me, talk down to me, and was very disgustingly rude. He told me that I didn't ask for things that I did and his tone of voice was just awful. There was no apology on his end, and it was just constant blaming of me as a customer that I didn't ask for things and even went as far as to say in his own way that I was a liar. I do not recommend this hotel to anybody, unless you're a truck driver just looking for somewhere to stay...
