Honestly will not be returning here. I am a regular customer , but today was the worst experience I have ever encountered at any Popeyes. As I walked in i walked up to the counter. Manager (BLANCA) on duty took my order but stated it will be a couple of minutes due to the fact that the cook is preparing a fresh batch of tenders and fries. As I'm waiting one of the workers (Evelyn) dug her hands inside her pants in order to pull them up. Before (Evelyn) was able to pack my food I ask her may she plz put on gloves or wash her hands due to the fact of what I as a customer witnessed. (Evelyn) disregarded what I have asked and proceeded packing my meal. I turned to the manager and asked the manager (blanca) may she plz re-pack my meal not only because of the disgusting encounter I have witnessed as a customer but because of the fact her worker (Evelyn) packed my food out of spite without adding any paper to stop the fact that the grease/oil from the fresh batch of food coming out was seeping threw the Popeyes box. the manager (Blanca) stared at me and told me there was nothing she can do and proceeded taking another customers order. Never felt so disgusted or disrespected before at any Popeyes. Very poor customer service. ( picture in the bottom shows how my...
Read moreI am extremely disappointed with my recent experience. This was supposed to be my birthday dinner, and instead it turned out to be the worst one I’ve had. My girlfriend originally wanted to take me to Mama Sushi for a nice celebration, but after leaving the spa I decided I wanted Popeyes since I hadn’t had it in a while, and we could share it with her mom at home.
I placed my order online for pickup. When I arrived, the cashier didn’t realize I had ordered 2 drinks—I had to remind him. While he got them, I checked my bag and saw I only had 1 small coleslaw instead of the large I ordered, and 3 small mashed potatoes instead of 1 large (which is NOT the same).
When I got home and opened the chicken, it was old, possibly recooked, burnt, and completely dried out. I have pictures of everything—it was unacceptable. On top of that, my Popeyes signature sauce was missing.
This location completely ruined what should have been an enjoyable birthday meal. I regret not going to Mama Sushi instead. I will never return to the Popeyes on Kennedy Blvd in North Bergen, and I’ll be sharing this review and the photos on my Instagram...
Read moreI am writing to express my dissatisfaction with a recent experience at this Popeyes location. It seems that the company no longer values its walk-in customers and is pushing everyone to order from a self-service kiosk. Upon walking up to the counter, I was immediately told to use the kiosk without any hesitation or offer of assistance. This felt unwelcoming and impersonal. When I encountered problems with the kiosk, the staff seemed to have no interest in helping me resolve them. It's clear that the focus is on digital customers, and in-person patrons are no longer a priority. This is a significant disappointment. Not every customer is able or willing to use a kiosk, and it's essential for a business to accommodate all of its patrons. A lack of human interaction and support for those facing issues with the technology shows a disregard for customer care. I hope Popeyes reconsiders its approach and remembers that good service is not just about efficiency, but also about making every customer feel...
