North Myrtle Beach Aquatic and Fitness Center — Hotel in North Myrtle Beach

I wish I could give a higher rating just for the swim instructor Judy who is currently helping my oldest learn to swim. She has been wonderful and an absolute delight I wish I had just signed my youngest up to learn with her instead of what we got. I originally signed up my other 3 year old son to take swim lessons and knowing his age still put him in the wrong class. We were then told to put him in the younger class and I said that it was fine. They told me the wrong time for the second swim class. So we ended up skipping a week. This week my son was so excited but upon starting the class was COMPLETELY ignored! His little face was lost as to what the other children were doing. I walked over to see why the swim instructor wasn't letting my son participate and he then said he wouldn't force him to get it... but never even tried... never even acknowledged him. I didn't pay money to have my child sit and watch.... shame. I'll wait a while and let him get one on one lessons before I ever attempt this again. The front desk needs to get...

Normally wouldn’t take the time to write one of these but we have family in town for our wedding so super disappointed at the unnecessary stress created by the aquatic center - my family requested their 5 free passes for the year as part of what is included in the membership, my brother asked in person and my mother called on the phone on the same day. When my mother went to pick them up after the 24 hour period they said they weren’t processed because they had to be requested in person by her only. I checked out the policy book and it makes no mention of that. I use to work here as a fitness specialist and then a personal trainer - That being said I know that processing these passes is like a 5 minute thing that should of been completed in the 24 hour period... really disappointed.

Also disappointed with the change in fitness director staffing, the gym is not the same place/environment has changed for the worse which is sad to see.

And just so you know their rating is skewed - if you leave a poor rating on Facebook...

Very clean throughout the entire place!!! Great front staff that is very friendly and helpful. The center has a great swim coach Mr. Mel he was patient and wonderful with my son. He taught him so much this summer and gave him so much confidence. Thank you Mr. Mel !!! You truly gave my son a gift for a lifetime. To the center Thank you for having the swim lessons even for non members. It truly is a wonderful thing. We are so impressed with everything we are going to be summer members for sure next year. Thank you again. Our family will be back.🏊🏻‍♂️ 2021

Love the gym and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I also like they have protein shakes available at any time. Also while I did my own workout my son was able to do his own workouts. He was with Stephanie during Fit Kids on Tuesdays and Thursdays. He enjoyed her class so much!!!!! So glad we are able to have a great place to go in the...
