It was a lot of fun, but it could use a fresh coat of paint. Rating on 1-5 Scale Course Condition: 2 – the course needed a bit of repair and attention. They had theme music which was a lot of fun; however it was only about 5 songs so if you played both courses it got to be a bit repetitive by the end. We liked the music, but maybe add a few more songs to the playlist. Difficulty: 3 – Some holes were too easy. Many holes had a lip around the edge and caused the ball to go around the hole instead of into the hole. So the level of difficulty was there, but not in a fun way. We did both courses. The Port Canaveral course was more challenging course, but other had wheel spinners that made it interesting: Ex. Make one of your opponent’s shoot from wherever you place their ball on the course. If you get a hole in one, you can switch scores with one of your opponents. Cost/Value: 4 – They offer the second round for only $3. They offer a military discount and coupon. Fun: 4 – They had caves you go in and out of, waterfalls, and an "interactive show” with pirates firing cannons...
Read moreThe only thing Mutiny Bay offers is presentation. It looks pretty good... from a distance. And for all the mini golfing I have done in this area it may have the nicest entry area. Nice and cool...
And it didn't get any better from there. The attendant mentioned some kind of show that we were supposed to see. I had seen fire erupting from the top of one of the structures from the highway, and we were there for an hour and saw no such show. There isn't much shade to be had for the hot days, so be prepared to sweat bullets.
Mini golf is also absurdly expensive. Here your child is an adult at the age of 9, so remember that when you're looking for something to do
But what really matters is the mini golf itself. Is it fun? Any interesting twists? No. Mutiny Bay is the most vanilla, all par 2, snooze fest I've experienced. The golf barely gets a star.
If it weren't for the well tended garden and clean greens the entire rating would be that one star, but they do keep a...
Read moreWe went right at opening time so it was not crowded at all. Choice of two courses - we played Port Royal. There was a short automated show every 30 minutes with dialogue, cannon fire, water blasts and an explosion. Pretty cool for the money you pay. Course was challenging so it took a little while to play, which is nice. It was also very clean, well landscaped and not too much climbing (more gently upward slopes then big staircases). Clerk was very nice, and I really feel like the business cares about the customers enjoying themselves. Absolutely my only complaint was that there are not a lot of places to sit along the course if you need them.
Overall, really fun,...
