Nestled in the heart of North Myrtle Beach lies a culinary haven known as Thai in Town, and after a delightful dining experience, it's easy to see why it's held in such high regard. From the moment we stepped through the doors, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality, setting the stage for an evening filled with culinary delights.
Our journey commenced with the expert guidance of our server, Qui, whose knowledge and enthusiasm illuminated the menu. With her insightful recommendations, we embarked on a culinary adventure that would tantalize our taste buds and leave a lasting impression.
The star of the evening was undoubtedly the Drunken Noodle, a dish that danced with bold flavors and vibrant ingredients. Its perfect balance of spice and savory notes elevated it to a culinary masterpiece, leaving us longing for just one more bite.
But before delving into the main course, we indulged in an array of appetizers that set the stage for what was to come. The pot stickers, delicately pan-fried to golden perfection, burst with savory fillings, while the spring rolls offered a delightful crunch paired with refreshing flavors. And let's not forget the crispy spicy fried wings, a symphony of heat and crunch that left us reaching for more.
As we savored each bite, we couldn't help but appreciate the ambiance that enveloped us. The tranquil atmosphere, complemented by soothing music, provided the perfect backdrop for our culinary journey, allowing us to unwind and savor every moment.
In conclusion, Thai in Town is not just a restaurant; it's an experience. From the impeccable service to the exquisite flavors, every aspect of our dining experience exceeded expectations. As we bid farewell to this culinary gem, we left with memories that will linger long after our vacation in Myrtle Beach has ended. Thai in Town has undoubtedly earned a place on our list of must-visit restaurants, and we eagerly anticipate our next visit to this...
Read moreTheir food is good but when you order takeout it’s just not worth the wait. They will tell you 1/2 hour but your food comes out at least 15 minutes later. So I figured I’ll just get there 15 minutes later instead of sitting there getting frustrated. Well that doesn’t work either you still have to wait 15-20 minutes after you arrive. This time my wait in their restaurant was over 1/2 hour after I arrived which 15 minutes after they originally said it would be ready. I asked the waitress when my order was coming out and she said 5 more minutes. I picked up my signed credit card receipt and told her I’d give her 7 minutes then I’m leaving with my receipt. She then asked me if I wanted to cancel my order. I said no but I’m in 7 minutes either with my food which is my preference or with my receipt. So she said she needed to cancel the order. On my way out I stopped by two tables and asked how long it took to get their food after they ordered, both said 15-20 minutes. Obviously they don’t start cooking your food until you walk...
Read moreMy wife and I are not really familiar with Thai food, rarely having it because there weren't any places near where we used to live. We were looking for something Oriental, and decided to give Thai in Town a try. We came in for a late lunch. We were the only folks there, so as you might guess service was spot on and there really wasn't an "atmosphere", it was all nice, clean, and ready to go. We ordered off the lunch menu, and I asked (knowing that there was a 0-5 scale for spiciness), what was the level of spiciness on the clearly labeled hot dishes and was told flat out 5, no scale for lunch. Now I didn't want to die from the inside out, so I chose Classic Fried Rice and my wife had Pineapple Fried Rice. They were absolutely delicious meals. Hands down some of the best Thai food I have ever had. It was also filling, not too much or too little. The iced tea was fresh too, and also really good. We had a great meal and are planning to go...
