Meadows Lanes Bowling — Local services in North Strabane Township

When this place first opened, they served pitchers, brought your balls and shoes to your lane, and were open until 2am. Now, we came in a little before midnight and were almost shooed away bc they, "might be closing at 1." They no longer serve pitchers, and the bar can't even maintain a tab. Do you have any idea how annoying it is to run your debit/credit card EVERY time you order a drink??? We had to scavenge for balls like any run of the mill bowling alley. The lights came on at 1230 letting us know we needed to get the f* out. This bowling alley is an embarrassment to its former self. I'm embarrassed for hyping it up to my friends only to realize that it is a huge disappointment from the place I remember. They might as well shut it down. Went here for a night of bowling… It was fun but very dark. Then the bartenders cut me and my husband off after three drinks, even though we have a room at the hotel. We were both sober, but our previous drink order made them proceed with caution. Neither of us showed any signs of drunkenness or aggression. There was no logical reason for cutting us off other than being petty. The bowling was fun, but I would not say it's worth the money that you pay. You could go to West Pike bowling for a better experience. I will not say I had a bad time, , but I am just disappointed in the behaviors...

I realize the bowling alley is not a major draw at a casino but none the less a few times a month I drive my mother and aunt to the casino to gamble however I don't gamble. So when I found out there was a bowling alley until I saw how small it was. Oh well, I only need one lane. The lanes were oiled all the way down giving me no control, food overpriced for reheated frozen, and the last two times I've been there I can't even play due to leagues, they couldn't leave one or two lanes open?
