This is one of the nicest PF locations I've been to. It has almost everything I need to work out minus free weight barbells for squats/bench and Olympic lifts, but that's expected when you join PF. This location has a good assortment of machines for lifting as well as cardio equipment. I was particularly happy they have the normal life fitness ellipticals and not the weird slider ones here.
What sets this location apart from other PF locations is the ample space and equipment for stretching and more body weight/band/calisthenic type exercises. They have 4 areas with stretching mats and room to use them, stretching cages, those kneeling stretching machines, TRX, bosu balls, thick long loop bands, handle straight bands, medballs, and kettlebells in addition to a good range of dumbbells. They also have a larger assortment of lower end weights for dumbbells which seem to be more popular which is nice so you don't have to wait to use those. They also have a nice increase in lower weights from 5, 7.5, 10, 12.5, 15, 17.5, 20 lbs for the lower weights and then the little 1 lb increment weights going from 1 up to 12.5 lbs up stairs near the cardio stretching area.
Lobby is nice too with plenty of tables to sit at. Locker rooms have lockers where you can set your own lock code so you don't have to bring a lock which is nice since other locations don't have that as much. Also is well staffed and appears to actually offer classes unlike some other locations. In addition to gendered locker rooms, they also have a family/unisex bathroom for those who want that option. Only other downside to here is they don't have an arm bike and some of the aisles between equipment are kind of narrow, so it's not as handicap friendly as it could be. As someone with an injured leg, it's disappointing to not have any cardio options for people who don't have full use of their legs.
This location also has tended to be a little more crowded with a larger number of meat heads lifting which didn't bother me much, but could be intimidating to any newer fitness goers who joined because of the "no gymtimidation"...

PF has fixed this issue and I’m very glad they listened to their customers. This is how a business should operate. Very satisfied customer again.
I love this gym honestly and have told many people how much I enjoy this place. I have my morning routine workout where I watch news on my own TV on my own cardio station.
Recently however they chose to remove my news station from their available lineup. I was told it was a basically a company decision as some news outlets are not sympathetic to certain segments of their membership. I was also told this was a decision to only allow local news. However CNN one of the lowest rated cable news stations remains.
So my morning choice is CNN or worse The View for news and commentary.
I can understand the choice to possibly remove all news outlets if that is a company position even though I don’t agree. However, to remove some and not all is not about being inclusive it is about censorship. Inclusiveness for one at the exclusion of another is not by definition inclusive.
This gym does not have the large screen TV monitors others do the monitors are on individual equipment stations.
I enjoy my workouts I enjoy watching my news/opinion stations. I do not enjoy being dictated to what I can and cannot view and by proxy being deemed a bigot as I do not like what you choose to allow me to view.
For a judgement free zone this is awfully judgemental. I’m...
Read moreOf the dozens and dozens of PF locations I've visited around the country, right now this has got to be the best ever, hands down.
A superior value for the price. The massage chairs and massage beds alone are worth the price.
Many touches here typically only found in a higher end gym. For Planet Fitness this place is definitely among their top tier.
Very clean, spacious (two levels). A ton of cardio equipment with each machine having it's own individual TV screen.
A lifters location. Six Smith machine stations. Extremely rare at PF, or just about any average gym for that matter.
Bathrooms/locker rooms are well laid out. Self locking lockers with built in combo locks. Digital scale. Touch free automatic faucets at the sink. There's even a TV above the urinals. Don't ask me why.
Staff tells me the place is brand new, and it really shows. Having only opened in March 2017
Should be 4.5 stars, only because WiFi seemed to not really work, pages wouldn't load even though it showed connected. Not the biggest deal at a gym, but would be nice if it worked well.
This place gets the #JamesAmericanJourney "Preferred Location" stamp...
