WISP Ski Resort — Hotel in Oakland

Tubing. Not well run, or run by lawyers. For 2 hours of tubing, we got 4 runs. Why? They only let a run of tubes go after ALL of the previous run had LEFT the slopes. Not got off the tubing lane, not walking off the slopes, but completely out of the area. Ridiculous. We all kept wondering what the hold up was. A repeat visitor said he had been coming there for four years, never seen this. Unless this improves, will not spend the money to get only 4 runs. I love this place so convenient travel not too far and it’s a good vacation time for weekends.the town is Cozy and there is good supermarket and some good restaurants.there is a small kids amusement place including laser tag ,racing car and game machine for rainy day .A beautiful big lake with a lot of beautiful house and cabins around .this place is combination of mountains.lake with beautiful landscape.I definitely recommend to everyone and...

First time snowboarding, first time at this resort. I saw some negative reviews which had me nervous however I ended up having a great time. Staff was very friendly and helpful, they answered all my questions and gave me plenty of pointers. I had no issues with the gear I rented (boots, helmet, board) and the trails were pretty good.
