I usually never review hotels but this hotel was so bad I wanted to warn people before they spend their money or points on this place. We reserved two rooms. One of the rooms was ready to go but the the other room, as we tried to get the door to open, we realized there were people in the room. Went back down to front desk to tell them that the room was occupied, stood there for about ten minutes, with no updates or anyone talking to me, and out of the blue some man comes from behind the wall and says "ok, we took care of it and have given you a suite" and hands me keys. So, I head up to the room, in a rickety elevator that I thought for sure was going to stop between floors and get stuck, get to the room and the key actually works this time. This "suite" is not anything special and to call it a suite is almost laughable. There is hair on the bathroom floor and the water pressure is non-existent. I later learned that something was going on with the water pressure because we get a note slid under the door apologizing for the water pressure. The other room we booked, that was across the hall, had great water pressure. Anyway, the beds are hard as rocks, all of them, in both rooms we booked. It was not a pleasant stay at all, it seemed that the staff was super unorganized, we got a knock on our door about an hour after arriving and the guy from the front desk is standing there and shoves a paper bag in my face and says "here ya go!" I took the bag, bewildered and open it up, it is a comb and conditioner, and I say to him "I did not ask for this" and he says "Well, whoever called said room 5##" and I said "Well, this is that room, but we did not ask for this. So, somebody is confused." and he looks at me and almost shouts, "Well, they said room 5##!" I mean really??? Really??? 1)This is not my problem, 2)Do not act like I am the one who did this! 3)Do not raise your voice to me when I have absolutely no idea what is going on and I am still being nice to you. The free breakfast is nothing to write home about, which is sad because we have stayed at a couple Fairfield's where the breakfast was absolutely fantastic. I wish I could at least get my points back from this stay or only have to pay for one room, since the other room was so horrible but I guess I know now that not all Fairfield's are the same and I will think twice before staying...

We got to our room & realized the toilet didn't work. We called the front desk they said to turn something in back of the toilet & my husband did what they said & it didn't work. It was nasty & discussed. My husband asked can we move room & she said they are sold out, how when you only have 10 cars out in the parking lot smh. She said she'll sent the maintenance man, he came & it still didn't work. She said If it doesn't work by in morning they'll see what they can do, the water came back later that night. I didn't do my review because we always had the best time and best experience with Marriott and I can't believe that this is a Marriott hotel. I read a few reviews and I felt all their experience. I came upon one review and she said that she had bed bugs in her room and happened to be that was the room we were in OMG I am crying now how gross can this place get. I saw a review said that was rats in their room & the rat chewed up their stuff on the 4th floor, I would have ran out of that room & out of that hotel that day... Why can the health department check this place out or even Marriott corporate office. Please DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL... YOU WILL REGRET IT.    Read moreI have never written a review, positive or negative, since I'm generally easy going with occasional missteps nor give too much attention when someone does a job they are getting paid to do. However, my experience at this particular hotel left me with a sense of responsibility to other business travelers. I was going to start by complaining about how the exterior looks new but the interior looks OLD, but my biggest complaint is with housekeeping. The floor in my room was obviously not vacuumed since there were little pieces of paper everywhere. Then I found a package of crushed peppers (like you get with pizza) under a drawer that hadn't been closed and random long hair on a chair that wasn't mine. Again...don't usually sweat the small stuff. Room was comfortable enough for a single night and I've been in worse. HOWEVER, the following morning when I went to take a shower, I pulled back the shower curtain, and there was a DIRTY rag on the edge of the shower. Not just used, but gross...like someone had wiped their butt with it or something. I then asked to speak with a manager at the front desk and was told they don't get in until 9:00-10:00. Really? Wait until the business travelers leave so you don't have to hear the complaints? Of course, the girl at the desk, just said sorry and went about her business - not rudely, but only mildly apologetic. This and a high room rate puts this entire chain on my do not...
