Rodeway Inn Ontario Mills Mall — Hotel in Ontario

A person can deal with anything when you have great people around you who treat you well & know if SOMETHING GOES DOWN, THOSE PEOPLE WILL HAVE THEIR BACK! THIS is why I continue to rent from Rodeway Inn Ontario.Mr. Pintu (Manager) hardworking BRILLIANT MAN! Mr. Pintu--SPEAKS AT LEAST 3 languages--& He’s constantly working around the clock helping the staff, renters & his family--GIVE THIS MAN MORE MONEY! HE IS WORTH IT!) Thank you so much for including me like family here! (Possible) Negatives: They’re slowly refurbishing the rooms (not everything is the best condition) NO BREAKFAST--IT IS ⅓ THE PRICE OF THOSE “Breakfast included” HOTELS! VERY Noisy-- The Rodeway Inn is right next to the TA (Truck stop) and there’s a train track DIRECTLY across and above--there’s a lot of noise from that-- I sleep VERY well here! (I owned a home right next to train track in PA before California) Positives --It is VERY clean here & if there IS a problem---THEY FIX IT RIGHT AWAY! -laundry, ice and snack machines on site. Each room has Microwave, great fridge! Desk, 2 chairs, shower with bathtub, nice big counter, sink, dresser with counter on top for phone-- roomy, 3 big drawers--2 nightstands on each side of my King bed --non smoking room. THERE ARE MANY outlets--charge your laptop, phones, camera and bunch of other stuff all at once! Several lights make filming, writing, filming super easy for your eyes.. Control your own heat & ac--WORKS WELL, pool & a hot tub. Most of the guests seem to respect quiet hours (& are usually quiet during the day too) Walkability- I can walk to any of the stores I need to go to in less than 20 mins. There are buses if you need to go out of the little town. Less than a mile to the Ontario airport & Toyota Arena -5 min walk to Farmer Boys. Amazon lockers are at the TA right next door Shopping--Food & Groceries/ Business- INSANE prices at the BOTH TA (2 right across from each other) Walk around the corner to Farmer Boys) get groceries--save more money making your own!)15 min walk to Sam’s club, Target, Grocery Outlet, Big Lots, Dollar Tree, 76 & AM/PM, Staples, UPS--LOVE both! Superstar Staff: Maria-(cleaning) She started mocking me like she’s me & was dancing. I said “Baila conmigo” & now she dances with me every time I say it! Ronnie sweetheart--she works overnight. Ober (Fastest & smartest, most caring maintenance guy!) & his wife, Francis (cleaning) work here! Sisters Griselda & Esmerelda---sweethearts! BEAUTIFUL to see such hard working ladies being so good to each other!Angeles- BEST EVER! Angeles knows EXACTLY what I want, (towels, cleaning, not to be disturbed etc.) SINCERE, hardworking, God-fearing woman! Angeles helps me feel “safe” (emotionally) with her patience & kindness-My Spanish Skills Skyrocketed! I want to learn her language better so I can communicate with her & show her how much I care! Waldeck--Sweet man in medical school--came here from Haiti. Leslie--EXCELLENTE! She told me “Saludas, dinero y amor,” most important! God wants that for all of us! Caring THOROUGH and THOUGHTFUL lady-with her cleaning & convo!! SHE REMEMBERS what I need, but offers other things she never assumes. She asks questions about my services and my life. BEST (front staff) Juhi--FANTASTIC communicator--with smiles & patience (I also have a hearing problem) Juhi shares herself--her thoughts of a higher way of thinking & better life for us all. GENIUS woman-GIVE HER A RAISE! I feel safer emotionally because of these people--& physically. There’s 24 hr surveillance, staff & security--and the Ontario Police patrol here all day & night Though this is the MOST AFFORDABLE hotel in California, I feel the value HIGHLY EXCEEDS my money because these PEOPLE ARE PRICELESS! If you've read some of the reviews below you'll realize this isn't the grandest of places -- especially if you want to sleep with train tracks right next door and heavy trains loudly going past.||||I had a negative experience with the owner, Nero, that just goes to show how elements of customer service or decency have gone out the window. I made a mistake and doublebooked this motel and another one for the same night. In fact, I wanted to stay at the other place the first night and then drive down here for the following night. It was my fault -- I was tired and booked the same night twice. The Choice booking system did not stop a duplicate reservation.||||I phoned Choice Motels to ask if I could do a deal: I was prepared to pay for the night I really wanted but, if I did that, could I swap the wrongly booked night for a subsequent (second) night if the place wasn't sold out? I wasn't planning to stay in this location an extra night, but if this could be arranged the hotel wouldn't lose any money -- just allocate a room that would have otherwise gone empty to replace the one I'd erroneously paid for -- and would gain the payment for the night I actually wanted! (so I would be staying two nights and paying two nights).||||Choice customer service found my request reasonable and phoned the motel for me, but they said the owner needed to be contacted. So I emailed him and got a negative response. It's true: he was entitled to keep the money for the night I erroneously booked and did not have to do anything, but he could have cooperated at no cost to himself while still having two nights revenue for the two nights stayed.||||The owner's cold attitude indicates a form of greed that is highly unattractive and makes a stay at his property even less desirable than indicated by many other reviewers below. I'd recommend staying elsewhere, especially the very nice Comfort Inn Suites Ontario, also part of Choice Hotels, and that I've found offers fantastically good service as well as a friendly customer-oriented...

First we will start off with the rude manner of the two employees | dealt with. Very unpleasant and unprofessional. My family and I came to see my cousin graduate, we left the motel at 6:30 in the morning and hadn't seen a restroom in hours so at about 3pm we came back to the motel to drop off my aunt and to use the restroom before we left to the mall. Our key got deactivated so I went to the office to get it fixed, I mentioned to the woman at the desk that it looked like our door had been tampered with to which she responded "don't worry about that". After I returned to the room we got a call from the office where the woman at the desk told me we had too many people in our room and that we're not allowed visitors, which we were not told. I explained to her that we were just using the restroom and we'd be leaving in a moment and she said "yeah you have to leave now" I told her yes we were leaving soon and hung up. Not to mention the room next door had literal crack heads (we saw the pipe in her hand) in and out and chilling in front of their room all hours of the night but they're worried about us stopping to use the bathroom. Upon checking into the room we found an open condom wrapper under the mattress, and a giant clump of hair in the made bed and multiple burn holes in the blanket and sheets and stains on the walls. They did not properly clean anything in either of the rooms. The other room we booked had a broken AC so I called and asked to switch rooms and the woman on the phone told me to make sure it was on when the panel was completely broken off. We got another room that the AC was working but squealed the entire time it was on. The four stars that this place had is EXTREMELY generous, if I could give negative stars I would.
