Walked a mile to this place from my hotel due to the decent reviews. I walk into the "restaurant" at 9:30am on a Friday and there are only 2 construction workers dining and the rest of the dining room is empty. Takes about 2 minutes for the guy behind the register to acknowledge me... "are you wanting to order now??" Uhh, yes sir. "If you order now it will be 45 minutes." What?? The dining room is empty?? "I have all these orders ahead of you. They call in." Well that's a terrible business model for a "restaurant." Just become to go only if you're not going to prioritize the people that come in to dine with you....
Read moreJ J Grill was recommended to me by my coworkers and I’m really glad I gave it a try! I ordered the chicken teriyaki, which came with cabbage, rice, and my choice of french fries or salad. I went with the fries, and they were so good, hot and crispy. The chicken was flavorful, though it was a bit heavy on the sauce, which soaked into the rice. Not a big deal, though next time I’ll just ask them to go easy on it.
