The food was uncooked, and I'm not talking about the sushi. They had a few of my favorites that were still a bit raw. The breaded shrimp were still translucent from undercooking, the duck was extremely cooked, and the tilapia was bright pink in the middle. They had wings that were very crunchy and tasty on the outside but still bleeding in the middle. The wings tray also had some fried meat on a stick that had an off sour bitter spoiled flavor. A lot of things in the menu had mayonnaise added to it that was old like it sat out and got gelatinous, but was blended and reused anyway.
Their sushi was about the best part of the buffet. Even though the sushi was not better than WinCo or Ralph's/StaterBros sushi. A lot of the dishes were dirty with residues from the wash still on the plate. Brought napkinsto wipe them down. The booths were the same, unclean, and you'll find yourself wiping your own table down. The booths had a fierce gathering of flies in the windows that had no qualms about inviting themselves to your plate asking if you were going to eat what they were landing on,"You gonna eat that???" No Sir, I replied, pushing the plate away. I figured I'd try the fruit. Why not? You can't mess up fruit! Right? Wrong! I was so wrong. The honeydew was mostly rine and too hard to eat or flavorless. The strawberries and cantaloupe taste like they were rinsed in old mop water and smelled like a gym sock. I never understood the red gell sauce on the bananas???
After trying all of the lineup, I didn't have time to get any crab legs, which I usually do. Not today, I could keep the food down. My stomach doesn't do undercooked meats or seafood. It ends up coming back up on me, and I won't want to eat or drink anything for a few hours. I also did not try the stir fry chef nor the meat that is hand sliced and served. It would seem like I'm bashing this establishment for clout or out of spite. You'd be far from the truth. I used to love this buffet but was very disappointed today. On top of that, this was us celebrating my wife's birthday. Now I have my head hung low.
Then there was an argument in the kitchen, I suppose they figured out who's mis-cooking the servings, lol. What made matters worse was this meal cost nearly $80 for 2 to eat. I gave a $15 tip and ran to the car, where it all came rushing up and out in the parking lot. I left the Luxe Buffet with regrets that I didn't just go to Denny's instead. Needless to say, unfortunately, I don't think I'll be returning after this trip through the...
Read moreTHE LUXE SUCKS! My party and I had the most absolutely horrific food and service here. As a place that poses as an "upscale" restaurant, it's the knock-off of the buffet world. The only elevated thing about this place is the prices. Don't settle for this overpriced, poorly made food. The Luxe touts that it's an Asian-fusion spot with fresh ingredients, NOT. The Mongolian BBQ was so dry, the meat was extremely tough and tasted a day old. The coloration of the meat was also questionable. It was gray!
The Luxe requires you to pile a plate of meat and other toppings so you can hand it to a rude cook with nasty vibes. I walked up to the grill and he yanked my plate out of my hands. All I said was "hi" and he gave me a despicable look. I was still being kind even after he made me wait 15+ minutes for him to return to his post. Next, he cooks my meat, slaps it on a plate and throws it at me!
Don't even get me starting on the waitress... I told her I had a Yelp discount for a free drink and she totally ignored me and said "HOLD ON!" She was asking for our drink orders and purposefully passed me up. My friend defended me and said "hey, he asked for his free drink" and she finally took my drink order. She was very aggressive and dismissive of me. She's the middle-aged Asian lady with major attitude. I will strongly discourage my Yelp community members from coming here.
Want dessert? Too bad, you have to pay extra for ice cream. They have these cheap ice cream cups (the size of a fruit cup) in a dingy freezer as one of the dessert options. Each cup is an additional $1. This is a scam, dessert SHOULD be included, NOT HERE. The ice cream is dollar store quality, again very poor food options.
Each buffet option starts at $39.99 for crappy food, seniors get $3 or so off. The buffet screams greed and...

I had one of the worst food-related experiences of my life after eating at this restaurant. Within a day of dining here, I became violently ill and had to go to the emergency room. I received an injection and was essentially bedridden for four days with fever, chills, vomiting, body aches, and severe diarrhea. I still haven’t fully recovered at the time of writing this review.
I ate a variety of items from both the hot and cold buffet, including seafood (crabs, raw oysters, clams, crayfish), meats (roast beef, hibachi), fruits, cakes, and cookies. I can't pinpoint exactly what caused the food poisoning, but the raw seafood or possibly the cooked shellfish are likely suspects.
Despite the restaurant appearing clean on the surface, the food quality and service left much to be desired. Several issues stood out:
Many food stations, especially the roast beef and hibachi grill, were often empty. I had to return multiple times just to get served. The hibachi noodles tasted off, and the roast beef was extremely dry—likely sitting out for hours. Finished plates on tables weren’t cleared promptly, contributing to an overall impression of poor upkeep. Another concern I had was the communication barrier. Most of the staff behind the buffet counters didn’t seem to understand or speak English. While I respect cultural and language differences, food safety and hygiene standards in the U.S. must be clearly understood and followed by all food service staff, regardless of background. I seriously question whether proper food safety protocols were being observed.
I truly believed the place was safe to eat at, but I was very wrong. I'm writing this review to warn others so they don’t have to go through what I...
