Worst experienxe ever. TLDR: terrible smell, bad network connection, staff shortage, unkind service from the some of the staff, especially the manager. The room smells like it was painted recently, the window cannot be opened, while the AC produces another strange unpleasant smell when working in heat mode, which makes it even worse. Have to use the AC in the cool mode in winter for fresh air, so if you live in the room that i lived in, you have to bear either the smell or the noise of highest fan and low temperature in winter. WIFI and mobile data is unusable at night in some floor 3, 4 rooms. This is probably because the crowded channle. I cannot believe that they used A SINGLE transmitter to serve a 4-floor, 100+ room building. We booked for 3 nights, after a terrible night, asked a front desk staff for a room change. She was willing to help, but her manager, Bramod, showed that he was extremely reluctant to let us to change the room, by calling us "someone causes issues", and enforcing us to cancel the next 2 nights in a unkind manner. Leave the place for above reasons.
(Edited to reply to the response): What I have said are facts, not allegations. Number one, the terrible smell, is also mentioned in other reviews. Either all of us stayed in this hotel on different dates, made those allegations together, or the smell problem does exist. Number two, we requested a room change on the second day morning to find a place with better network condition, we tested the whole building and regretted seeing that there is only one transmitter on the first floor. If I missed any of them, please correct me, instead of accusing your customer for making allegations. Number three, different people may feel different about the number of staff. For me, I only see four staff members during my stay, including front desk service, room service, and manager. In my opinion, that is a small number for a 100+ room building. However, I am not a hotel manager or expert, the “staff shortage” may be wrong. Number four, we do appreciate and respect the help and the attitude of the front desk staff. But the behavior of the manager is unbearable. This is the first time that I was called “causing issues”, but the manager, clearly, is very familiar with asking customers out. What I requested was just to get a room without a bad smell and with a stable network connection. I believe either one of them is the fundamental requirement for a hotel in 2024. Didn't you claim you have WiFi on booing.com? Shouldn't every room be clean, and free of smell? If I just booked for one night, I wouldn’t ask for a room change. I could stand it for 1 night, but I am afraid that smelling 3 nights of harsh chemicals can harm my health, and the bad network prevents me from sharing my feelings with my friends. I am honest about all those things and willing to be responsible for what I have said. This is my first review and I regret to write a negative one. I have stayed in different hotels for the last 15 days, this one must be the worst to make me feel that I have to say something about it. I wish your hotel could become better. But if those problems persist, I cannot recommend anyone to...
Read moreUnfortunately it is very obvious how cheaply this hotel was built. It's still pretty new, however the amount of fails is unbelievable. First, the AC was wild. There is a thermostat on the wall which is NOT connected to the actual unit, located by the window. The "auto" mode on the unit itself does not work at all. So you either get no AC or air blowing constantly with no temp control. Second, unfortunately the beds did not feel clean. The sheets were upside down for some reason, torn on a side and with (prob unwashable older) stains and some long and some short black hair on them. Not to mention It looked like someone actually slept in it right before. IF the sheets were even washed then it looked like maybe no detergent was used or something like that. I just did not feel clean. I have worse experiences though, I m not a snobish person at all and this being the last stop of our long trip I basically had no energy at all to go cry about that at that moment. Third, and probably most annoying thing was that our fridge did not work at all. No need to say more. To explain why we did not try to solve it and get a different room: We went to the front desk right after we checked in to ask for help with the AC. The front desk girl really tried to help us however completely ignored our request to get a different room. We only found out about the two other issues (dirty beds and the fridge) afterwards - later that night and the next morning and so we were simply too tired to go downstairs again to try solve them. It kinda makes you feel like you are the troublemaker when you complain multiple times. We only stayed two nights so we decided just to get over it. Anyways. Staff was friendly and the breakfast was ok. I m sorry for leaving such a bad review but seriously, cheap motels by the road were mostly better than this. PS. I cannot believe the arogant replies to the bad reviews left by the manager recently. Wow. If you want to get back to me calling me a Karen or so, you are welcome to embarras yourself further. For the referrence, we booked under my husbands name,...
Read moreAs one of the more expensive hotels in Page, I expected more. The hotel is one of several recently built hotels near Glen Canyon Dam View. This is evident from its modern exterior, and the interior is very nice too.||The location is amazing. You could easily spend months here and still find new things to admire within an hour's drive.||However, the staff who were on duty when we arrived were not very friendly.||Our room was nice and big, and very comfortable. The room walls were adorned with beautiful photos of the surrounding nature.||There was an envelope on the bedside table (I had never seen anything like this before – a gratuity envelope), as well as paper and a pen. The envelope and paper had been scribbled on as if someone had been testing the pen. There was no name in the 'Your housekeeper has been...' section.||When I went to make coffee, I found that one of the coffee packets had been opened. The packets of napkins, stirrers and cream were missing. When I went to reception, the receptionist brought me one replacement coffee packet and two sets of napkins, stirrers and cream without apologising.||We wanted to unpack our suitcases, but we couldn't find any luggage racks. There was only a bench, which could only hold one suitcase. I'm not sure whether the rack was missing from the room or if they don't have them here for some reason.|The ironing board is stained and needs to be cleaned or replaced.||The shower enclosure needs to be fixed and properly maintained, as do the sides and the bottom of the door. The furniture is scratched and damaged – there are waxes available to fix such minor problems.||We had very weak, unreliable WiFi.||At first glance, the hotel looks beautiful, but upon closer inspection, minor imperfections begin to catch the eye.||Breakfast was a standard continental buffet with a few options to choose from. There were no healthier options, such as vegetables or real cheese, unless you count fruit and yoghurt. Tables are not cleaned after customers have left.||Free iced lemonade is available from...
