Hold up reviewers ~ and READ THIS; upon pulling into this property the grounds are pretty much impeccable. Plenty of FREE parking with access doors on each end of hotel for entry. We stayed on the 1st floor and our room was quiet. No noise from above at all, 0! No hallway noise either. Clean, spacious, stocked room with towels, hand towels & face clothes, blankets & toiletries. Updated shower with good water temperature & water pressure. Even a mini fridge. Bed VERY comfortable with matching pillows. Use Marriotts wifi and you are all set! We ate at Peppers for breakfast off of the breakfast menu and it was delicious: had the breakfast wrap loaded with meat, vegetables & cheese it was enough for 2 breakfast as I wrapped 1 half to go. Husband had all American, 2 eggs, bacon, potatoes n toast, again hot n fresh. Server came around within 2 minutes of us being seated, let us know about breakfast buffett and took drink order and continued to come around for refills, for her other tables as well and the place was packed, not a table empty and a line out the door!! Complimentary coffee station if you are on the go. Bar area was just as comfortable and as attentive and greeted immediately. Opens at 5 and their is a mad dash for people going, which means as a single bartender that has 2 hands like the rest of us sit back relax & chill out! He or she will get to you! Full bar menu, something for everyone. Pool area was clean, comfy water temperature, umbrellas & plenty of chairs n tables. Hot tub perfect in temperature n clean. We bring our own pool towels but looked like pool towels are complimentary. Pool was busy- if you don't see towels someone was always at front desk go ASK! A few games to play outside of pool area, really nice rocking chairs to relax covered from the sun with large fans above you. It's a great set up! This location is why people from over the world stay! The amount of people shuffled thru here is simply amazing to see! Remodeling would mean less rooms available for us and at sold out capacity for us. Which could mean higher prices for us in high season. With the amount of people coming & going this property is kept up! Like any property with this many people I'm sure any remodel/ up keep is done off season. Most will visit once in a lifetime and not get to see these changes. You spend all day calmly sightseeing some of the most stunning sights that will stay with you for a lifetime, WATCH your words when writing negative reviews; THIS PROPERTY IS ABSOLUTELY WORTH STATING AT! My only "complaint" was the AC: it sounded bad and couldn't keep temperature cool but it's also 100° n sunny, it's going to be hard. We went to Walmart n bought a fan- cooled room off great & I returned it! Had no ther choice! Mentioned it at check out & was compensated for the inconvenience. Be respectful- these are young adults, mothers, sisters, cousins & people who grew up in Page, Arizona! They're used to a much simpler life before us, WE THE PEOPLE!!!!! We will be back....
Read moreWe stayed 4 days and 3 nights on this property. While I was very hesitant to say anything, I am going to voice my concerns today. We arrived Friday evening. After flying into Las Vegas that day. We spent the day at Zion National Park, planning to eat dinner at the restaurant here. After arriving at the property, we were told the restaurant was “under construction”. Surprised, because I have received no notice of that in advance of my stay, we asked about the nearby restaurants. As I mentioned, we stayed 4 days and 3 nights, there has been NO construction on this property! Not a single day.
The next morning, we woke up to find they are also not serving any breakfast as the hotel states in my reservation. No continental or full breakfast as the app also advertises. My son went down after calling the front desk, and was told they had some pastries available.
Our air conditioner in our room does not work, nor does the refrigerator. You can adjust the air, but it does not change the room temperature. We are leaving from here to go to Vegas, and have tried to change to add a day to that hotel, but unfortunately they did not have availability.
When we came back to the room on our third day, while our beds were maid, the pillow were pilled up on one bed. Just thrown on the bed. This was the point I decided to walk down and talk to the front desk. I asked about the “continental breakfast” that the website still advertises, and couldn’t an adjustment be made to our bill since that was clearly not an option at this point. She said we did not pay for breakfast. I showed her on my Marriott app where it shows we have both a full breakfast (the restaurant is closed) and a continental breakfast available. She told me the general manager was supposed to remove that. I knew at this point there was nothing that would be done.
I knew when booking this hotel based on reviews it was older, dated, and in need of some renovations. I was not concerned with that. I am a loyal Marriott user, and always know Marriott does a good job to stand behind their brand. However this property and their the people running it are not upholding that. The room cleaning is poor, the property is not being maintained. There was a large crack in our toilet that was literally glued back together. The fridge was not working. The AC was not working. The house keeping was bare at a minimum. We had to ask to bring more towels and the floor mat for the bathroom.
Do not expect for the breakfast that is advertised to be there; or the restaurant that is advertised on the website either.
I will say on our last day, there was a table set up in the lobby that had some cereal boxes with a sign that said milk was available at the front desk. I hope they are making an effort to correct some of this.

Read moreThis hotel was interesting and kinda grew on me after the initial disappointment. It is listed as a 3 star hotel and some areas, like the pool and front lobby area are but the room that I had (312) and the overall hallways and stairwells are definitely 2 star quality. ||On the plus side, surprisingly, is that the hotel is in serious need of some renovation with scratched walls and dirty carpet the norm, BUT if you are willing to look past the costs for staying in what is basically a 2 1/2 star hotel, it is perfectly located for going out and seeing the sites which is why it grew on me. It is very centrally located in regards to places like Lake Powell, Antelope Canyon, and Lee's Ferry, and only 2.5 hours from the North rim of the grand canyon. Another big plus that was an initial minus is that the parking area appears to be pretty safe. I brought a Kayak as part of a week's stay in the Page area, and had hoped to store it in the Hotel, but the front desk denied that request. Despite being a big, brightly colored target, nobody touched the kayak after 7 nights outside with the truck. The sound proofing between the rooms was surprisingly good, maybe because it is an older hotel, but after a week, I only heard noise from 1 room for 1 night, and the hotel was nearly full every night. Also, MOST of the staff were extremely friendly, even saying hi or Good morning when passing by in the hallways.||On the negative side, there are a few, so, first thing is that room 312 showed its age, with a noisy AC unit, very weak refrigerator, a tiny shelf in the shower, the standard air pillows on the beds, only 1 USB outlet, and a dead switch in the bathroom. Also, one very odd thing, maybe in all rooms, but definitely in 312, is that they had an outlet behind the bed that had 3 things going to it and all the prongs were bent from abuse. That is a very bad spot for an outlet. The single elevator in the hotel was also slow and old and looked like the ceiling tiles had not been cleaned in a few years. Also, they place a $50 DAILY hold charge on your credit card for incidentals which is the highest I've seen anywhere. They also use surge pricing on their rooms, so if you book when it's almost full, expect to pay the highest, but if you book early, you might catch a deal. This is also the only hotel I've ever stayed in that didn't have microwaves in the rooms, just a community microwave in the lobby store area.||Will I stay here again, not likely, but if you can handle the costs in relation to the quality, want a safe hotel with a decent pool, that is conveniently located, and is quiet with mostly very friendly staff, than this could be a good...
