I stayed at your hotel for almost 2 weeks with my family And on our last day there I called down to the front desk to extend our stay like I had done multiple times before and the manager at the front desk told me that she would not be extending our stay and that my family and I had to leave. She stated that I did not come down to the front desk to sign my guest form when I would extend my stay and that I did not have my stay extended By noon every time. I told her I was sorry and I apologized Informing her that my family and I had just lost our home and things have just been really hectic for us it wouldn't happen again and I'm sorry it wasn't done by noon but every time I had extended my stay I was incommunication with the front desk and they approved it and I in fact signed every form they had asked me to sign and they supplied me with new keys every time So I was a little confused on where this hostility was coming from. I was in tears at the front desk explaining this to the manager and without hesitation or flat out assuming that guests know their policy from front to back Instead of giving the guests a warning or kindly explaining the policy procedure at the hotel She continued to throw us out. She gave us very little time to get our things out of the room and off the property. Not only was I upset But I was completely embarrassed and mortified as a guest that myself or anyone for that matter would be treated In such a manner where they are in complete tears explaining how they just lost their home and they were sorry that they did not extend their stay by a certain time but that they would actually continue to kick them out is beyond me! I have worked in the hotel industry for a while and I came across some people who have fallen on some tough times and you better believe I treated them kind and went above and beyond to accommodate them in what was one of the toughest times in their lives and most certainly didn't kick them out because they extended their stay past noon a few times! I treated them the way I would want someone to treat me if I ever found myself going through tough times, but I was sadly very disappointed! Heartbroken is a understatement! And not only did this manager Kick us out of the hotel but she gave us very little time to get our things out of there but making it extremely difficult to access the hotel or our room because she rendered our keys useless and when we asked for at least a key to get in the side doors to get up to our room, to then get in our room to continue to get our things she continued to make us bad keys that didn't work but then would call us in the room hounding us asking when we would be out of the hotel and off the property! She threatened that if we were not out in 20 minutes that she would charge us a 1/2 A-day stay! So because she would not make us a key that worked and we asked several times one of us had to stay in the room so the other one can be let in every time they would come up it was a fiasco! Completely unnecessary and Flat out disrespectful! I have never been so disrespected and completely disregarded at a place of business Like I was here! Completely 100%...

Read moreI am a local Palmdale resident who stays at the Staybridge regularly. Overall since, my experiences have been pretty good, and for the most part friendly and accommodating service which i truly appreciate. However, in the past few months I have been noticing a decline in the desire to accommodate late check outs, an attitude when asking for them, and when i do check the icon on the tv to request a Late check out no one ever calls back and i have to call the front desk. The room I am presently staying in has a plugged sink, no scrubbers to wash my dishes, when cleaning came through they took my wash cloth for the dishes and did not replace it. My shower is leaking water on the floor, and during this stay on 8/24/23 @ approximately 10 pm or so I went down stairs to extend my stay another day. I waited at the counter for 10-15 minutes with no clerk in sight. No problem i am thinking, it is kinda late and I waited patiently. After 10-15 minutes I called the front desk and immediately saw a clek move around in the back office. The person didn't want to get up as the body language indicated this to me. The person, Catherine, finally came out, and i told her the phone call was me. Catherine looked angry, and dismissively told me, " I am on my break, what's up"? Horrible customer service to say the least. I still was not upset and simply told her i wanted to extend my stay. I handed her my ID and my IHG rewards credit card. Understandably, Catherine doesn't make up policy, and she told me she needed my wife to come down with her ID to extend, since she made the reservation. I asked the clerk why I had to make my wife get out of bed to extend, when i had an IHG rewards card, and I am on the reservation. She answered that I can bring my wife down to the reservation. I Pointed out to her that she didn't really answer my question and reiterated my question to her if she was going to make me get my wife out of bed. At that point I had enough of her attitude and pointed out to her that if she was really on a break she must have been on her lunch break because I was waiting longer than ten minutes at the front desk waiting for service. She ended up going into the office and closing the door and telling me she didn't care if I called corporate like I told her I was going. Excellent 👌 Customer service. To boot I called for a late check-out this morning and was denied. As usual there are no carts to assist me in removing my bags as i check out, ALWAYS a problem finding a cart. Looks like I may be looking for another place to stay at regularly. Thank you Catherine I appreciate you, and hope you have enjoy all...
