Well this is a bummer. Especially after the staff here knows our situation. I wonder how many lies people have told that ruined others lives and they don’t even care. I’m not sure how this place even signed our City’s Prayer Ball and then say this type of thing.
Apparently I made Lashantine nervous somehow, to the point she said I was sexually harassing her. I know I wasn’t because I’m celibate, I’m actually not sexually attracted to anyone right now while on my spiritual journey, she’s also married, she’s also working, etc. I called all of these ladies Sister on several occasions. One day she had asked me to buy her lunch, I couldn’t that day but at sometime I did ask her if she smokes weed and she said yes. I said omg I’m gonna bring you some to try!!!! We went to the dispensary and bought the weed and that day she came out where the 3 of us were smoking and after she called my name, I tried calling her over and she didn’t come, I assumed she didn’t hear me. The next day she was going into the office and she said I’m just minding my business and I said can we mind your business outside for a second right in front of another seemingly nice employee and she said no and I said ok God bless. Prior to Lashantine assuming I’m interested in her all the staff was really cool. And the place is built very beautifully. Like a Museum. The foods good, my daughter loves it there. Not truly sure how we made her uncomfortable, I was uncomfortable too after she asked me for something I’m not gonna hand it to her on all her cameras at work like idk if they allow them to do that.
& yes I probably did say to everyone there “I’m better now seeing you over here” like not working so hard when they ask how I’m doing. I said the same thing to both male securities.
Anyways, Lashantine thinking I’m sexually interested in her is why we can no longer stay there. But here’s the proof in their bathroom of why I tried asking her twice that day to like talk to us away from the counter-also they asked that I dont open my bag in there so idk how else I was supposed to give it to her but here ya go. My friend Mari also knew why I was asking, she took us to get it.
Not sure how she asks me for lunch and says she wants ME to buy it and I assume I’m just talking to another Angel, again a Sister….and then we change to weed and she flips out before even accepting it.
Maybe bringing her food would’ve been harder so that’s probably good. And No, Mrs. Lashantine, I think you’re a lot older than me sweet girl. & also, you being married is considered a roadblock from Christ, also, you being at work is a roadblock from Christ. Any girl getting near me in that way is also a roadblock from Christ. I can assure you I tried quite a few times to give you the weed we talked about away from the counter.
I also left them a note fully describing two men and I’m certain I compliment everyone the same. Not sure how this got so far but people with power are often power happy. I have a 7 year old daughter like I’m not out tryina get anyone. But anyways, here’s the weed I was trying to give her, that we...
Read moreThis is my second time staying at this Doubletree and I am a loyal Hilton customer with that being said my first stay a few months ago none of the outlets worked in the room. So I couldn’t charge any work devices. Yesterday was my second stay at this hotel. The room that I was originally assigned had a broken air-conditioner and as you know in Palmdale during the summer temperatures reach 105 if not more I called down to the front desk, the agent that answered the phone said she would send up a maintenance guy I had asked if there’s another room available if they can’t get this fixed and she informed me she just got on her shift so she’s unsure and then said oh yeah we have a couple rooms. Maintenance guy shows up he says he knew the AC wasn’t working just couldn’t find an air conditioner to replace. He gave me a key to a room down the hall and apologized, which was lovely. The room that they gave me was dirty the towels were dirty, and the water in the room was used, opened water bottles! (pics attached)
Additionally, when I was searching for ice, there was a lady standing in a hallway, staring at me and did not say anything to me, and I noticed a few ring doorbells when I was walking down the hallway looking for ice. Never found the ice; had to call the front desk. Ice is on the 2nd and 4th floor in case someone is interested in this. I had been up since 4am so I found the ice came back to my room, and went to sleep….throughout the evening Someone was softly knocking on my door and I could also hear kids screaming and a baby crying throughout the night.
If you are a woman who travels for work, do not stay here. It is not safe
I could be wrong but it seems they have long-term tenants mixed in with general hotel population, and I believe the long-term tenants don’t want us there. Hence the lady staring at me in the hallway….I felt uncomfortable and in my opinion, the long-term tenants put a lot of pressure on the current staff therefore that’s why so many housekeeping issues and maintenance issues, the staff are falling short because they can’t keep up. I feel this hotel needs to increase security and support staff if they are going to have long-term tenants to be able to keep up with the workload. I am a loyal Hilton customer so I will continue to stay at a Hilton brand hotel but I will not ever come back to the Doubletree. This hotel needs a complete revamp and I hope someone at a corporate level will read this and take...
Read moreAfter scouting many hotels, I thought this would be a nice stop over for a night. Afterall, it has the Hilton name. I booked through Hotwire and I’m not sure if that was a mistake. Checked in, receptionist was sick. Get keys and go to our floor. Immediately upon walking in, the room smelled like bad mildew/mold. The bathroom was even worse - think wet bathing suit left in a humid grocery bag for weeks. I’m super sensitive to smells and called downstairs and told staff that the room smelled like it had recently flooded and hadn’t been remediated. It felt like the staff knew the issue and without question said they’d move us. I went out in the hall to wait for the new keys and saw very visible water damage in the hallways. I was very worried that I’d keep having this issue. The guy that took the keys went into the old room and suggested he knew the first room was trouble (so why try to rent it out?). They moved us to the room across the hall which had a strong perfume scent. Great, until we looked around the room. The bathroom sink and floor had someone else’s hair (or poss pubic hair) so I suspected it hadn’t been cleaned. One of the courtesy $2 water bottles in the room had been half drunk by presumably the previous person that stayed in the room - this was my indication to check the room more because I didn’t think it was properly cleaned. Sure enough, I pulled back the bed sheets and there was more hair and yellow tinge. I was frustrated because now it was past 11 and I’m having to drag my exhausted kid and all of our luggage around the hotel in search of a clean room. This time they moved us to a different floor (maybe the staff floor because many doors had doorbells or some device on the frame or even possibly the non-discount floor). This one was fine (aside from burn holes in the chair), but I was so irritated that we had to continuously shuffle from room to room late at night. It wasn’t acceptable. I really hated complaining but I paid decent money for a nice clean room and...
