The location is wonderful. Close to several beach Access (we preferred the one just past the days inn to the left), there is a wonderful coffee shop next door with breakfast, its right next to a liquor store and beach shop. the Courtyard is nice to let kids run around in...that's about all for our trip this last week ( july 2025). When I was called to Confirm our reservations, They mentioned nothing of the pool being closed. When I got there the pool was green. They worked on it all week and it started to clear up the day We left. They also do not provide blankets only a top sheet, I understand It's Florida and you might not want a one, but it would have been nice to know in advance. The whole compound is very run down and Disheveled. There are no cushions on the sunbathing beds like in the pictures and the paint is peeling. There is just random items all over the place ( empty bucks and stuff). At one point they sprayed Roundup on the cracks while we were eating dinner in the courtyard. The beds are rock hard. There is a mini fridge so that's a plus.
the shower in our first room didn't drain, we called the desk and someone came right up and they moved us to a new room. The shower worked, but couldn't get the Tv to connect to cable.
Night time was horrible. Every night we stayed there was a Disturbance in the middle of the night between 1-3am from within the hotel area ( not the kids and their trucks driving by, thats just PCB) We stayed mid week into the weekend, The middle of one night Someone was in the courtyard blasting music on a Speaker. It played for about 5 minutes before someone else exited their room told them to turn it off. Another night about 2am on the weekend there were two little children running up and down the balcony to the second floor screaming at the top of their lungs (playing). this went of for almost 10 mins before i went out and told the parents people are trying to sleep.... and their kids should be in bed also. Every night there would be someone yelling in the courtyard, or someone going back to their room with their speakers still on. just enough to wake you up. They need to have Security out in the courtyards on weekend nights.
would I try this place again? possibly, but only for...
Read moreOur experience here. My wife and I celebrated our 20th anniversary here. And honestly? We couldn't have been happier!
First, the location sets it up as an outstanding choice. Easy front parking with deep parking spots to either back out or turn around and back in the spot.
Second, the staff. They never made you feel like you were bothering them. I don't know how about you but even though we are on vacation I just hate the feeling of asking questions and being a bother, but they did not act like those typically will that your question is a bother. They were great. Learned some history of the location and previous owners. Just nice staff.
Third, the room: you can not expect perfection and amazing accommodations for something like this. Inexpensive right at the water with easy access to EVERYTHING! It has a fridge, it has a nice shower with hot water and great pressure, it has a toilet, it has a large vanity with a single bowl sink, and a very very comfy bed, (only sheets so bring your favorite snuggle blanket and maybe a pillow at home) and a chair. Some stand for clothing and ice-cold air conditioning. A pool, a nice game room, some pop and water little bit of snacks.
Great courtyard, beautiful at night when the lights come on, shuffleboards, beer pong, good music playing through the night, and bonfires on the weekends.
Folks, all ya need is a place to sleep and get clean for dinner or your day out. I wish a place like this would stay booked every single night. They are the true mom-and-pop stay.
I would pick them a hundred times over any large-name hotel chain.
Can't say enough except when my wife and I go back to PCB we ARE STAYING THERE AGAIN. Thank you to all the staff. Your a very good example of hard work and doing what you can to treat your...
Read moreThis is not a hotel this is a hot mess. The sweaty lady who runs this establishment is pure trash. She is rude and a liar. We get to this hotel about 6 check was at like 3 room wasn't ready. They had to go find a room. It states on the booking site free wifi. If your on vacation wifi is a must. Or at least have cable. Nope the lie was the wifi sometimes doesn't work in one side of the hotel. We were put in a room supposedly they were booked up I walked by at least 12 unkempt rooms. Or room was changed to the side of the hotel "with wifi" this was now a queen suite. These two rooms were not our original room. The lady asked us to leave the next morning because we asked for a refund. We paid in full and wanted to see the refund reflect before we left. Refund screenshot was asked to be taken from our phone. Not a printed receipt . She kept confusing my bf for the staff member. Needless to sat never got a refund. On the last night she sends a. Missing tooth security guard after midnight to kick us out. Still no refund. He threatened to call the police. We went back to sleep.around 3. Also a man and his family were at the pool playing with a cap gun that had a large orange cap on the end it was gold. She came out lied and said she was called the police on him because some called complaint. My bf was discussing the refund at the front desk while I was by the pool no one called her or asked her to speak to him. This hotel is renovated but if you want your money's worth. Get a corporate hotel. We were stuck in the room on a rainy day sitting outside our door. NO...
