We were so excited to visit Goofy Golf in Panama City Beach, we even left dinner early to get there on time! But our experience was beyond disappointing. Their posted hours clearly say they close at 10pm. We arrived at 9:56pm only to be met by the rudest and most unprofessional employee Iâve ever encountered.
She immediately told us they were âclosed,â even though the sign and website clearly state 10pm. When we asked why, she said she decided to close early because she âdidnât feel like dealing with people anymore.â She even admitted she has already gotten into 2 arguments with different parties today. Every question we asked was met with the same dismissive, âweâre closed,â like a broken record, even though the service window was still open. When we asked why the window was still open if sheâs closed, she said the guests could still âcome get drinks.â So, we tried to say âOk, we will get drinks.â Unfortunately, we were met with the same annoying response, âno, weâre closed.â
When we asked for the manager or ownerâs contact information, she said she didnât know them, couldnât provide their info, and refused to give us her own name. Extremely unprofessional.
At my own job, if someone comes in before closing time, we still serve themâitâs called customer service. If your hours say 10pm, you should be open until 10pm. Period.
Costumer Service is clearly a concept that is not known at this enterprise. This place could be fun, but itâs run by staff who clearly donât care about customers or the business. We wonât be back and will make sure friends and family know not to waste...
Read moreI was looking forward to visiting Goofy Golf with my family during our trip to PCB (June 10, 2025). The classic mini golf course sounded like a fun, nostalgic experience. Unfortunately, our visit ended up being quite disappointing.
The course itself has a charming, retro feel with its theming and kitschy decor. However, the two courses are quite small and not particularly well-maintained. The overall upkeep of the facilities left much to be desired.
The real letdown, though, was the staff. The person working the counter when we arrived (we paid separately in two groups) was very rude to both my oldest son and I. They had a nasty attitude and made the check-in process unpleasant. And when we returned the clubs at the end, they were just as unpleasant. There was no provocation on either of our parts and even my younger son said something to me wondering why this person was so rude to us.
To top it off, there are no places to sit and rest between holes, which made the experience tiring, especially if youâre dealing with disabilities.
Overall, I was really let down by our experience at Goofy Golf. The nostalgic theming couldn't make up for the poorly maintained courses, rude staff, and general lack of amenities. I wouldn't recommend visiting this mini golf course - there are much better...
Read moreTook my daughter here for the first time yesterday.. a place I would visit all of the time while growing up. Worker was so sweet. absolutely adored her. On a side note.. I'm sad to see it in the condition it is in now. Which is why I am leaving only 3 stars. I wouldn't change anything about the actual structures or courses..because that's what makes this place special. But it needs some good updating like sanding and painting, and mechanical updates for the moving ones. The man tower needs a new railing going up the stairs and his nostril needs covered on the inside.. a small child could easily fall through if parents are not watching closely. My daughter got surface scraped almost cut on rusty tin sticking up from one of the courses over next to the castle. This place is a true gem and as one of the last retro places in pcb .. I would hate to see it close..and I'm sure alot of others would be sad to see it go as well. I bet alot of people would volunteer their time to help get this place good as new. I know I would and will if owners think of asking for help. Fundraisers or taking up donations would be great to help pay for updates. I have so many ideas on ways we could get this place fixed up or...
