These people are racist. At least they are to Asians. May 28th late afternoon, my parents walked from our hotel to the pier as it was highly recommended by people to fish and take a stroll. Upon arrival they did not have their fishing gear with them and was trying to decide if it would be better to pay for just walking ($3) or fishing ($6). The male employee there recommended to buy the fishing pass and said it would carry over and cover until noon on May 29th. The next morning (today) they went to the pier with the fishing gear and was at the entrance trying to get into the pier. The lady there said they had to pay to get in. My parent wanted to explain what the male employee had said the previous day but she was not willing to listen. She kept saying ‘Sunday’ over and over again belittling and poking fun of their broken English, despite them being able to hold a conversation without an issue. My parents asked her to listen and she threatened to call the cops on them. My parents did nothing wrong and told her to do so. Another male employee, who looked to be a manager, was listening to how the lady was treating my parents but only decided to come out once the police arrived. The police said my parents weren’t in the wrong and couldn’t do anything about it. After hearing that, the manager’s attitude changed completely and offered my parents free passes for the day. My parent did not accept as they did not like how the employees’ demeanors changed from being offensive to sickeningly fake in one go. All this could have been avoided had she been willing to listen. My parents wouldn’t have minded paying the fee and stated earlier that they would pay if the male employee from the previous day had misinformed them. Do not recommend this place for any Asians unless they want to be...

I visited MB Miller Pier early in the morning—around 4:55 AM—and while I knew I wouldn’t catch the actual sunrise, the experience was still nothing short of magical. I had the beach entirely to myself at that hour, and the peaceful solitude made for the perfect start to the day. The sound of the waves, the soft early light, and a small storm brewing on the horizon made for an incredible and dramatic view of the clouds rolling in.

Parking was stress-free and reasonably priced—just $8 for 4 hours with a $0.30 convenience fee using the Passport app. Super convenient! The pier is located right across the street from Sunsations and within a short drive of several great restaurants, which makes it a central and easy stop if you're exploring the area.

The beach access is effortless, and the pier provides not just incredible views, but also a bit of shade if you need a break from the sun. Before heading out, the rinse stations near the exit are a thoughtful touch—no need to drag half the beach back to your car.

If you’re looking for a quiet moment or some of the best beachfront views in Panama City Beach, I highly recommend arriving early. MB Miller Pier is peaceful, beautiful, and well-maintained—a perfect...

If you're staying in the area, then this is a must! It's a great opportunity to see a variety of different fish and sea creatures.

First, we got to see all those little fish that were nibbling our toes on the beach. There were thousands! Then, as we went out further, we saw grouper, gar, sting rays, and even a beautiful sea turtle. The view at the end is just so serene and quieter than all the beach noises. Beautiful!

This IS a fishing pier, but keep an open mind, and everyone can have fun. I enjoyed listening and talking with the fisherman. Most of them are super nice. They'll point you in the right direction of the best fish markets.

Halfway there is a bathroom, which would be nice if you wanted to fish all day. There's a small $6 fee per person for fishing, $3 if you just want to walk. They also have rod and reel rentals and a cute little tackle store at the start. So, if you've ever wanted to fish in the sea, then they have all the basics you...
