Riviera Creamery — Restaurant in Panama City Beach

I give it a 5 star because of Kira. Kira is an asset to this company. I hope the owner reads this because Ive owned a company for 24 years and if she lived in my town I would hire her as a team manager and pay her well. We were there Oct 5 about 815 and the shop was packed with people. There were some customers that were really taking a long time to decide what that wanted. Kira was the only one working. Talking about customer service. She gets a 💯 plus. She handled the situation very professional and with a smile on her face as there were a lot of customers behind these 2 customers waiting to order. She didn’t miss a beat and as the other customers came up to order she would tell them “ I apologize that you had to wait a little longer” when it was our time to order I told her you don’t owe us an apology at all. I told her you are doing a great job. The way she handled the pressure moment with having some customers that were really slow ordering with a bunch of people behind them including me waiting to order was top notch. If you are in town for the weekend or just enjoying your Florida vacation be sure make the time to visit this establishment, your taste buds will thank you later. This parlor is locally owned and meticulously well kept. When you walk in you will be pleasantly greeted by the staff as you take in the relaxing atmosphere. It is always nice to sit there and enjoy some ice cream in one of their booths or take some out for a walk on the beach. They offer a nice selection of regular ice cream, and their rolled ice cream is the BEST in town (highly recommend peanut butter- banana). The level of upkeep, the friendliness of the environment, and the professionalism of the staff speaks volumes of how much the owner cares about the overall costumer experience. This ice cream shop was across from our hotel. There are booths to enjoy your purchase inside. The store was extremely clean, and there were two super friendly young girls inside working. They have a variety of goodies to choose from aside from the many flavors of ice cream. They have regular and sugar cones that you can get plain or dipped in white or regular chocolate, with or without sprinkles, or you can get it in a cup. We had a banana split, chocolate milkshake, 2 scoops of chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream on a vanilla chocolate, sprinkle dipped sugar cone, and 2 scoops of espresso chip ice cream in a cup. Everything was delicious, and we were all happy with what we got.

It is pricey but we expected that going in so we were not disappointed. It's definitely worth stopping in for a cool treat...
