We stayed here 5 days recently. The hotel itself is dated but we expected that when booking. Most hotels are. We weren't going for a luxury experience inside the room. That being said, it had what we needed. We had 2 queen size beds, which were clean & comfortable. The room had a full-size refrigerator, an area to hang clothes, small table w/2 chairs, microwave, coffee maker, safe, small bench, TV stand/dresser, & night stand w/lamp, alarm clock, & phone. The bathroom has a tub/shower & toilet & is a super small area. The sink/vanity is in the room, between the bathroom & beds. For me, with 2 adult sons with us, that is my only complaint with the room. You need more room to change than the little area in front of the toilet. The best part of the room was the balcony area! There are 2 chairs & a small little plastic table in between them. The views are amazing! We stayed on the 3rd floor & a small part of the view of the ocean was obstructed by the tops of the palm trees, not that the tops of palm trees in front of the ocean is a bad view... it was gorgeous still. I just think a couple of floors up might have a better view. Breakfast is included in the stay & is served from 6-9am. Most mornings, they served biscuits & gravy, scrambled eggs, egg jalapeƱo & cheese bites, waffles, hashbrown chunks, sausage link or patty, & orange slices. It's served in to-go containers. They have a few tables in front of the serving line, or you can take it back to the room. There's a beverage area open during breakfast hours. They offer coffee (sugar/cream), pineapple, apple, & orange juices. After breakfast hours, they offered sweet tea, water, & pink lemonade, though many times when I went, the tea & water were both empty. Each floor had vending, pop, & ice machines right off of the main elevators. The same area that you get breakfast from opens for a couple hours around dinner time & serves hamburgers, hot dogs, maybe a chicken sandwich, & fries for decent prices. My boys all got burgers & fries, & they were really good (as was all of the breakfast food). The pool, hot tub, & bar are all in the same area, which is to the far right of the property. There is no direct beach access from this area. You have to go back through the middle of the hotel to get out to the beach. It would be such an improvement to that area if you could walk straight out to the beach. No doubt it would benefit your bartenders & alcohol sales. The pool was closed the entire first day due to pump issues. The pool has a rock formation built into it & has a cool waterfall that flows from it. There are several lounge chairs around the deck area. A variety of music genres played. One day, while we were there, we saw a mermaid & pirate. They interacted & took pictures with the young kids. We could see an area off to the side of the pool area where they had a bubble/suds party with the kids. They (and a few Mommas) were all having a fun time. This hotel really seems to be more for families with younger kids. So, if you're wondering if it would be a good place for little ones, most definitely it is! The hotel is non-smoking, but they do offer an area on the end of the hotel, on the opposite side that the pool is on, with a few picnic tables, benches, & ashtrays. You can also smoke on the beach. The beach is accessible from the middle of the hotel. There is a shower to spray the sand off of you when you come back from the beach. The hotel offers 2 beach chairs & an umbrella rental for $40 from 8a-5pm. It is not included in the hotel package. The beach is a public beach, it is not private. The sand is a fine white, & the ocean is numerous different colors of blue. It was clean, & a tractor came through raking it. There are plenty of garbage cans & a broken volleyball net on the beach. We saw a couple of mantarays & jellyfish. Chase who checked us in, William tending to the grounds, Donna serving breakfast, Matt at the bar, all employees were extremely hospitable. We really enjoyed our vacation and the memories we made here.

The first time there, we had an ocean view the room was clean and beautiful. And it was the off-season so the rates were decent and we ended up staying a second night unexpectedly to stay longer and enjoy the ocean. There isn't much in the area for sidewalks that's downside for a tourist place but we did have a few walking areas for dinner.

My Friends & I LOVED staying here!!! The pool was spectacular & extremely CLEAN!!! Not one time did hair get on me while I was in it! Same with the hot tub! My 3yo LOVED the hot tub sooo much but wasn't allowed in due to rules & I completely understand how rules go, but he wasn't even allowed to sit on the side with his feet in it while I relaxed, so I didn't get to enjoy it as much as I wanted!

Employee's! We absolutely LOVED everyone we met! The ladies at the breakfast bar was just the sweetest!! The guy who cleaned our room was such a delight! Always had a smile on his face! I can't remember his name, but it started with an 'A' & I believe 'U' was the second letter. The lady security guard (can't remember her name) was always a pleasure running in to! Amanda at the front desk was just the best! She always went above & beyond when needed & even when she was beyond super busy! The front desk manger lol Welllll...didn't much care for her! AT ALL! There was an honest mistake made during the booking of our room. I wanted to stay 8.19.24 & check out on 8.24.24 & the lady that made my reservation entered the 23rd by accident. My Son & my friends were on the shuttle boat to Shell Island when I received a call from her & she was just downright nasty! Horribly! She has nooo business whatsoever working in Hospitality! I've worked retail all my life & have worked at several hotels & not one time have I EVER treated anybody or talked to anybody the way she did! She said-in a very nasty & hateful tone-you were supposed to check out today & the housekeeper went in your room to clean it & you've not checked out. I said 'I had my reservation made for tomorrow (8.24.24).' She says 'no... you're supposed to check out today!' I told her we were on a boat to Shell Island & her response was 'well...you need to stop by the front desk when you get back here.' I said ok & when returning to the hotel I went to the front desk & got stuck with her! She showed no compassion or understanding AT ALL & didn't even care to resolve the mistake...didn't offer a discount on another night since we had a 15 hour drive ahead of us. The room would've been $207-I didn't have that much & none of us having any rest before our 15 hour drive-she gave us 30 minutes to get out of the room lol. I have worked front desk at a hotel before-a Days Inn & my Manager always told us-'you do whatever you have to do to make a Customer happy & if you can't make them happy-you contact me.' We NEVER had a Customer leave angry, hurt or dissatisfied! The Manager wanted to hear my side of what happened & he took my name & number down & assured me that I'd be hearing from him...I've still yet to hear from him. I'm not saying I won't ever stay here again but I most certainly didn't like how things were done & what myself or friends went though at the end of our vacation lol I mean-it was more than extremely disappointing! I'd like for the rest of the Staff to know how grateful we are to have crossed paths & I wish there were some way to keep in contact with all the gems we met & talked to! Much love & God Bless you all who made the majority of our stay just downright phenomenal & one we'll talk about for years to come! šŸ’ž

EDIT My friend & I have stayed here twice within the last 2 months-June & July '25 & have nothing but good to say about Days! I was misinformed about the number of people that were allowed in a room & the Manager went above & beyond at fixing things & making them right! Every Staff member I've had the pleasure of dealing with, has always exceeded their duties & have been so kind & GENUINELY nice! We will be returning for...

Terrible time almost all around in the supposid "slow" season.

Was given one price online from the call center that nearly everything redirects and is outsourced to and then a different price at the desk because there is no cross talk (and those call centers are litterally on the other side of the world).

Call center consistantly tried to upsell me, talk over me, get my information, and in general not answer my questions that would have been answered in 2 seconds by someone that actually works at the desk (and instead just kept trying to push a sale over helping)

room was ok, not a fan of the hardwood floors, for some reason there was a bright light on the building that blinded the balconies and ruined the view especially at night. There was an almost constant stream of smoke from below from people smoking as well. The walls were I guess incredibly thin as we could hear the constant screaming, shouting, and slamming of whatever people and their kids were doing on ether side into the late hours. Tv and connection kept going out and was limited. The room was in front of the elevator with very little space in between and much like the walls was thin (also very wide gaps under and on the side) so everything could be heard clearly at any time, especially when many people gathered.

For the price, the room, location, and most everything was just awful.

the area in general just seemed to be lacking in everything and felt generally unsafe. The beach was fine and dandy, nice waters and sands, but everything else outside of that seemed shady and over priced.

the night shift worker was very lazy, rude, and "air headed" telling us things that (as confirmed by the day shift worker) were just not true. He ether did not know his job or was just saying whatever and was blowing smoke just to get us to leave (or a combination of both). He also never answered the front desk phone despite not having any customers when we went down several times only to find him kicking back in his chair.

on the opposite end I will say that the woman working the front desk in the daytime (I think her name was Shelby) was amazing. She was not only handling long consistant lines of patrons by herself, jumping between terminals, but she was kind, quick, and knew what she was doing at every turn, able to easily book, refund, answer questions, direct people and in general have a handle on everything on the floor despite being swamped and the clear chaos that is working day shift at this hotel.

Out of everything that this hotel should do, its give her a damn raise and give her some extra assistance, as shes clearly a one in a million worker who can hold things down and knows her stuff much better than whoever was working nights AND especially better than any call center...

overall the stay was terrible and we only stayed one night before moving on elseware and refunded what was going to be a several night stay.

Will not be coming to Panama beach again and especially will not be staying at a days inn again. Go down the road to Pensacola, much...
