That's 3 times I came to Hooters and ordered wings. Before I say something let me tell it like it is. I've been eating at this location for 20 years. But this new management needs fired. Its terrible. My wings were twice fried wings. Greasy and sucked. Who does that ? Why would you serve the public food like this ? I wouldnt say anything but this is 3 times in a row spread out over 2 months. Dirt on the floors near the bar. Slim on the inside of the ice machine lid . Nasty. The help dont smile. The cooks are lazy. And the food quality is horrible. Tonight I ordered 20 parmesan garlic wings naked all wings. I got half and half. No ranch. And the wrong fries. I ordered dipper fries. The old general manager needs to be hired back. Someone at hooters corporation needs to take a look at this store. Even the quality of ladies working is bad. Good grief. If I didnt care about this restaurant I wouldnt sat a word.
Update 9-20 -2018
I went back to Hooters and noticed that corporate was there. It was obvious they had been there for a week. The floors were cleaned the bar was cleaned about 80%. The tables and chair legs were cleaned. And it smelled clean. I noticed the bathroom had been cleaned. As one customer said it was the nastiest restroom in bay country. But as usual somethings didnt change like pre cooking wings and throwing them in a warming drawer. And as orders came in removed them and sauced them. Man there was only 5 tables and 2 at the bar. You do not need to precook wings and serve them. Good grief that's just plain laziness. The windows need cleaned. Through out the entire building. The stainless steel door entry to the dishwasher area needs cleaned. And get a hot mop in the restroom before someone breaks their neck or get sued by someone who's handicapped. As one guy at the bar said i was standing using the restroom my legs were spreading from the greasy floor.
In 3 months I've never seen the new management ask anyone ask how their meal was . Nor I have never been asked. That's just bad management from district managers.
I will say thanks to hooters for addressing some problems. And not taking this lightly. That makes me feel good. I'll go back in a week and give you another update. I want add a star till the wings are cooked to order. I go there for the wings.
May 31,2024 Ordered wings to try this again . I asked the bartender to make sure my wings were fried fresh not reflash fried from under a heat lamp. Thats exactly what I got back. The cook stuck his head around the corner and smiled. I didn't Say a word. Paid and left. It's a crying shame the owner doesn't read these reviews. Especially when I was a sponsored superbike racers for gulf wings Corp.. If you're loosing revenue now you know why. I tried many times telling managers. With no luck. RIGHT down the street the brass tap has far better wings and they're fried fresh. This was once a great restaurant.. Jan 12 2025 Bills and Denver game. I ordered the once great Buffalo fried chicken sandwich with provolone cheese. I received a hard as hell bun, cold chicken and not melted cheese sandwich. Fries was cold. Hooter, are you listening. This once great franchise for wings and a great meal is gone. I don't hate hooter at all. I want someone from gulf wings corporate office to get down here and clean house. Right now, Thr Brass Tap, Craft Bar, and a food truck at the Dive is kicking your a$$ when it...
Read moreD.I.S.A.P.P.O.I.N.T.I.N.G. We came down for spring break and I was excited to see there was a Hooters 10 minutes away. We went our first night here. Hooters is so hit and miss, but I always like to give the benefit of the doubt. $111 later and half the food eaten we left highly disappointed. The hostess, Natalie, I only know because I had to ask who the miserable hostess was since she didn't have a name tag on, was as rude as they come. I mean seriously, we appeared to be an inconvenience to her. We're talking my wife, 11 year old and myself. My wife asked if we could sit outside and Natalie had to go check as she rolled her eyes and couldn't have frowned more if she had tried. She came back and my wife asked if there was a spot by the rail with an unblocked view. She said there was and then said, "Once I take you out there I CANNOT and WILL NOT let you move back inside. Once you're there you're there!" My wife and I just looked at each other and agreed. My 11 year old asked why that person was being so rude. I didn't have an answer. We ordered and rather than everything coming at once it came one or two items at a time. My wife ordered smoked wings - all flats. They came out first and were the smallest most anemic looking wings I had ever seen. She took one bite and said they were luke warm at best and lacked flavor. I tried them and agreed. In the meantime my daughter got her boneless wings and fries. The fries were undercooked, but the chicken chunks were ok. Next they brought my undercooked fries and apologized that I hadn't received my wings yet. She told me they were making mine fresh. Odd comment, but OK. A few minutes later our server brought them and said I may want to try them because they didn't look like their normal wings. I assured her they were fine and she walked away. They appeared to have been sauced and dropped in the grease again or sat forever. There was some new sauce drizzled over three of the 10. The old looking ones were crispy on the bottom like cheese cooked on a baking sheet. So I have to assume I got old ones and they tried to camouflage them as new. Our plan was to visit 2-3 times this week, but I can't handle another Natalie attitude and refuse to drop that kind of money on sub-par food. I guess they're a 3.7⭐️ on Google reviews for a reason. Well, here's a whopping...
Read more2 Sep 22: Today was not a great day at Hooters. I ordered my usual 10 original wings (all flats), fries with cheese and a tall Bud Light. The waitresses name was Casey and she was friendly and attentive. She took the drink order within 2 minutes of me being seated and bright it quickly. I placed my order and that's when time seemed to stop. It took almost an hour to get the food and it was not very busy inside the restaurant. Casey came over several times to see if i needed anything and to let me know the food was being worked. Thankfully i wasn't in a rush during this visit so i let it play out. I feel bad for the servers in these situations because they are the ones that have to face hungry customers and apologize for the long wait. Casey brought the food and it was okay. The fries were good and the cheese wasn't watery like it sometimes is here. The wings looked unusually dark for some reason. I was skeptical and somewhat scared of the wings but at this point i was starving and decided to take my chances. They weren't bad tasting and I did eat them all. Overall I'd have to give this visit 2.5 stars because of the extraordinarily long wait and strange looking wings. Casey really saved it for the restaurant this time with her good service. I'm hopefully that the next visit will be better than today.
20 Jun 22: I ordered 10 original breaded Wings all Flats medium, 10 medium boneless wings and a side of fries with cheese sauce. The bone-in chicken wings seemed very overcooked as did the Boneless slightly. The french fries were not the typical curly fry type but just regular straight fries. The cheese sauce was actually pretty good and not watery.
This location is touch-and-go when it comes to food quality. Sometimes the food is on point other times it is pretty terrible. My most recent visit was pretty good. The wings were fresh and tasted good. I ordered fries with cheese in the last couple times I have gone to this location the cheese is watery for some reason. The servers were all very...
